I know there was some problem with counterfeit swisses on eBay, does anyone know if these at legit? I need new ones and stumbled across these and they are a great price if they are authentic.

this bit gives it away that there fake ;
Bones SWISS bearings are manufactured in China in a manufacturing facility dedicated to producing the highest quality skate bearings in China. They are inspected twice before being shipped to skaters and offer the greatest combination of performance, durability and low cost in the industry. Because they offer near Bones Swiss performance at a fraction of the cost, they have become the best selling bearing brand in the U.S.A.
swiss are never china- made. i got a real set off ebay a few years back before the whole counterfeit swiss bearing thing on ebay. still rolling strong today.

For the record, highly doubt authentic swiss would never be sold so far below wholesale.
-
dude just buy them from your local skate shop or order from a legit online shop. why would you think anything on a site called bonanza.com is legit?

Especially when it comes to good bearings.

Nobody is going to sell something for 1/3 of the price, it's simple.
@BMCsteve Maybe he's from outside US, in Europe Bones Swiss are around 90-100$ and that sucks. I always have to wait for someone going to US to bring me some Swiss for 40$ :(

what about the ones off amazon?

Cos if you don't your "local shop" wont be around anymore and you will end up with Zumiez.

They're fake
-
The real question is how do they skate?
-
I used to think all bearing hype was just marketing.. Then I rode some G3's, pay good money for good bearings, it's worth it.
-
I use to order my swiss directly from states for many years but our taxing changed, so nowadays i just purchase them from local shops. I have noticed that packages they sell here in europe doesnt say made in switzerland anymore, is that same in states or are they selling cheaper chinese-made bearings to us dumb euros? because it feels like bearings directly from states were much better quality than what im riding now.

I don't think the "Made in Switzerland" label appears on the box consistently. I've bought Swiss from legit places and sometimes it's there and sometimes it's not.
-
That's weird they don't advertise the made in Switzerland thing consistently. That seems to be the main fact to justify the higher price. Also they've been making them forever, so you'd think they have their packaging down.
