Saw this on IG and wondered if anyone had been? I know there's a good skate trivia in New York. This one is run by Strubing, Shimizu, and Clint Peterson.

this is rad. i've seen some of their past questions/handouts & its pretty crazy, gotta be good on that knowledge to name old obscure companies based off their logos.
my friend & i have been talking about doing something similar to this in SF, but it would be rad to drive out to LA for this one day

This shit was so much fun last night. Our team was me, Stacy Lowery, Ron Ressurection and Rattray. With all that skate nerd knowledge we still got smoked in like 4th place. Clint/Strubing/Shimizu really put in some good work on this thing. It was a good time.
I'm in for the next one if I'm in town for sure.

I'll be there tonight. They really put a lot of solid work into this trivia shit, it's amazing. It took like 2.5 hours to run the whole thing last time though. It was like taking the SAT on 90's skate knowledge.

In Oslo we used to have a VHS/quiz night where we'd watch a bunch of old VHS videos and then have a team quiz before blacking out on a Tuesday. Great times and if any nerds have close connections to a bar then you should set something up in your town.

I went to the one they did at Good Bar in LB last night. Place was fucking packed. Professor Schmitt showed up at the end and Welsh talked shit on everyone. Kenny Anderson did a Vegas trivia round and Shimizu did a "guess the Asian" round. It was bonkers.
