Title: Moving to Humboldt County

Come August I'll be up there for school for a few years at Humboldt State in Arcata, CA. Possibly longer depending on post graduation situations.

Its a long shot but anyone from the surrounding area (1 Hour plus in any direction)?

I went to school for a year at HSU over 25 years ago & the crazy part is the town is almost completely unchanged today from what it looked like then. Same bars, same donut shop. Even most of the same skate spots (don't expect much.:)) Arcata is a place where time stands still. Not easy to find a town in America where that's the case.

We didn't have the skatepark then though. I wonder how the skate scene is nowadays. It was super small & tight knit back in 1991 & included a bunch of rad dudes who ripped, including a very young Satva Leung.:)
