Started by the dude who started Supra. Dude was smart enough to know that Biebers and Jay-Zs and Rihannas don't fucking wear Skytops anymore, they wear Vans. So he sold Supra for a shitload of money to K-Swiss and started an "edgy" Vans to try and target that demographic that buys into that shit.
Basically all that needs to be known is on these two pages of the first press junket they sent out, which was sent to our shop to introduce the brand:

I thought you developed 2 different releases to send to different places. Like maybe you include in the email to core shops you plan on bringing in justin beiber and channing tatum as "influencers" and just focus on the fact that muska, thomas and twaun are a part of the program.
when I worked in toys, I didn't send the same info to indie toy stores, that i sent to chains.

Basically their market is fashion idiots. I think any involvement with skateboarding is just for street cred. This is my take on the company:
Started by the dude who started Supra. Dude was smart enough to know that Biebers and Jay-Zs and Rihannas don't fucking wear Skytops anymore, they wear Vans. So he sold Supra for a shitload of money to K-Swiss and started an "edgy" Vans to try and target that demographic that buys into that shit.
Basically all that needs to be known is on these two pages of the first press junket they sent out, which was sent to our shop to introduce the brand:

I thought you developed 2 different releases to send to different places. Like maybe you include in the email to core shops you plan on bringing in justin beiber and channing tatum as "influencers" and just focus on the fact that muska, thomas and twaun are a part of the program.
when I worked in toys, I didn't send the same info to indie toy stores, that i sent to chains.
Thats cool and thats how skateboarding should work; right ?
Now I want to support indie toy stores next time I have to get a toy; like my useless wooden toy. Wow; see what I did here ?!
