I skated with a guy from Latvia who used soap instead of wax, and he absolutely swore it was better. After skating with him for the weekend in Prague, I saw the appeal - some really crusty spots that I thought would never grind worked almost immediately and he claims it washes off in the rain and doesn't leave a trace. I never really picked it up when I came home but now maybe I need to give it another shot...

I've thought one of the weirdest things about the Olympic is I don't know which Country I will be rooting for. If Tiago is on for Brazil...

They're actually 20 years ahead of the Western world in skateboarding, but no one knows it.

He said any really hard soap works best. I think Dove would be a good choice.

ya'll get that luis did that as an ignorant kid and uses wax [or skate faster] now?
idc about olympics but good for luis tolentino. wonder who's gonna get drafted to skate for the other half of the domincan republic, haiti.
