Quite boring episode, the guy skates well but has not too much to say yet. I was waiting for another 3 hours of iSuck show :_)

Not his fault, he just got sponsored by Elon Musk’s tunneling company
-
After ISUCKs banger on an episode this was a weak followup. Guess you gotta appeal to the kiddies.
-
he looks like a billboard in the thumbnail
-
i like this guys skating but there's no reason to have anyone under 25 on this show
very boring, as he, like most that age, don't have much of interest to say
-
Not enough redbull logos
-
he looks like a billboard in the thumbnail
I was thinking more NASCAR driver
Anyone have the info on how much these guys get paid for the hats?
Must be a lot cos that shit is corny as hell and they know it
-
Gave it 10 minutes... nahhh, Ill wait for next week.
-
He is a decent definition of a skatepark kid that made it, redbull likes him because he is so mellow and proper(at least I tell myself that). He doesn't seem like he is into bad shit so of course he won't have any stories or much to say other than when he started skating transition and got on Real.
I think it'll be a few weeks til that Jamie episode is one upped.
-
Foy is the only one who can pull off that sweat stained hat.
-
It really is crazy to think that most new/up and coming skaters will not have that interesting of a come up or origin story. There's more skate parks than there have ever been, its so easy to get any kind of product they can want, they are able to watch any and all skate videos at the palm of their hands, they can connect with all their favorite pros and brands via social media and they are growing up with corporate brands being cool. Not that its easier to make a skate career these days with the hundreds of pros and brands out there but i do feel its a lot easier to be motivated and progress.

From what I heard Red Bull pays, that hat is probably getting him a lot more than your average pro's shoe and board deal are getting them. This kid drives a Tesla, the one he has is about 80 grand in the stock configuration.
-
zion s all right. but i dislike clements and all these dudes the more i hear of them... to me they re the ones turning skaters into these fake persona billboards and they snatch em with the help of the all mighty $
might even be that he s on real because of them pushing more than anything. he even said he didn t know if he was fully on real but now he got an ad... the rest of the real team seems tighter than that.
whatever it s just these darkmen leave a bad taste in my mouth lately- but that s the future i guess so more power to them

Hey you can't say that!
-
Super just blah
Someone just said it and it’s true, shouldn’t be anyone under 25 on this show...
Jamie Thomas and his beginning to end on last weeks show could be and probably was very interesting for people OUTSIDE of the skate world...
I would say this episode was like the inverse of that, meaning he wasn’t even interesting for the people who know and are inside the world he speaking of.. and I love skateboarding
Again not his fault, just probably not enough life experience
I blame whoever booked him and crib for not making it more interesting
Next 8)

Couldn't make it through. Combine his lack of personality with Crob's lack of interviewing skills and that's a snoozefest.
Nothing was gonna top ISuck, but that was brutal.

The days of hungry ams are long gone, you don't have to even be pro...just grab an energy drink sponsor and wear a dumb hat. I remember reading about dudes getting by on ramen with egg in it and selling product to play it again sports or kids at spots.

A Guy Mariano episode could.

I agree fully. Interesting skate interviews are already rare as fuck, but it is going to get a lot worse in the future.

could've had someone so much cooler for episode 69
-
Ryan Clements is a capitalist, not a skateboarder.
-
Not gonna bother with this one. I'd love a grecs episode
-
what appeals to me about this show is the "historical" factor. the best episodes are all parts of a puzzle creating this really detailed oral history of modern skateboarding. I love when episodes connect and someone tells a story thats kind of already been told but from a different POV.
i think there is a space for younger/newer guys on the show but only if it really keys into a part of the industry that is really changing... the industry... which is why the ryan clements episode was so compelling and is still discussed. its for that reason it would probably be more interesting to hear one of the revive guys come in and give hard numbers and explain how perceive the industry to be reacting to them than hear someone like zion. i would be really interested to hear kelly talk about whether he would put someone from a brand like revive on eS, or Rog talk about how its changed film, or just chris trying to wrap his head around the numbers.
i just want to add: i dont dislike zion. i wish him well if and hes old enough to drink a beer i would buy him one, he just comes across as part of the new "traditional" polo shirt nike skaters.

I agree, he seems like a nice kid and is obviously a talented skater. The coming up stories of these younger kids just don’t have the same struggle. Skateboarding is just to accepted now and. Gone are the days of there only been 4 skaters at a high school of 3000 kids. Jocks throwing rocks at you as you skated by. Spending long nights skating curbs and underground parking lots because there was no skateparks.

The best skaters are always boring.

I think any skater from the "Where are they now" post would be rad. Get someone we don't know their full story. I love Mariano but I feel like he won't say anything different from what I already know.
Personally, I'd like to see a Donger episode.
-
Wasn't too exciting but that's fine....he's a younger skater and this is not uncommon.....still liked it though and it's good it was shorter....

be mad at the nigga negotiating their deals
-
when you skate story starts at 2013, there's not much to share.
Zion's still one of my favorite kids
-
Well this sucked, he's a great skater, but boring, also theres no reason for anyone born after 1990 to be on the show
-
I believe Bam is this upcoming Mondays episode. That would make it up.

also, you have to be super human good which doesnt leave you with much time to do anything(interesting) other than skate. not exactly good interview fodder
-
Heaven forbid these guys are trying to appeal to skaters under 30.....
