Title: pete & pete appreciation

going out on a limb, but I'm claiming this to be the greatest show the 90's had to offer. the nostalgia..all the little details in every episode, not to mention the great soundtrack. wish television was still this creative, the surrealism of a comedy for kids just goes out far beyond anything around now has to offer

album of my life, if you dont have it get it.

yeah biggums, total fucking hero status for starting a thread. i own both seasons on dvd, i haven't watched the special features, i dont want or need to know anything more about the show, or danny tamberlli's ignorant ass not acting. once again you need to own it.

Such a great show! So many awesome guest stars (LL Cool J, Gordon Gano from Violent Femmes, Iggy Pop, Syd Straw, Michael Stipe...etc.) and such great music. Polaris, Magnetic Fields, Apples In Stereo. I have seasons one and two on DVD and I was real dissapointed when I heard season three was "postponed indefinitely".

good call, it was adam west aka batman/ the mayor from family guy.  the thing i liked best about pete and pete was the badguys....endless mike and openface were the shit.  remember how their mom had a plate in her head and could pick up radio stations?

The DVD's are great, my ex-girlfriend had season 1, don't know how far they've gone with it yet though.

I believe they still show it on Noggin.

Easily the best show I watched growing up by leaps and fucking bounds.

the first two season are on dvd, the third was supposed to come out but didnt happen.

noggin nixed it.

Oh shit, I loved Pete and Pete. When I was younger, I always wanted to get that mermaid tattoo.  I need those DVD sets. Where can I get them in europe? I remember looking for it a year ago or so and hardly found anything on the internet...

i was able to download every episode off of kazaa a couple of years ago, finding them on a torrent shouldn't be a problem now.

Best episodes:  Time Tunnel and Halloweenies.  Basically the second season.  By the third it kind of fell off....

This show was superb, although I am going to have to say I enjoyed Salute Your Shorts a little more.

When I used to golf a lot, I'd go to the driving range and think about what kind of guy was behind the wheel of that little caged buggy that picks up all the balls.

I also now check all my boxers' inspector numbers.
