How did they defend their use of a racial slur?
I've become increasingly disenchanted with the public recently. As much as I know it isn't everyone, it is hard to see past my vocal neighbors' insane conspiracies and their hatred towards basically everyone (that isn't white and wealthy).

They really didn't have good defenses. They pretty much both responded with the mentality of "No, you are wrong, I can say this, I'm not racist"
