i asked this elsewhere already, but is this waffle control thingamajig the same as waffle cup?

Waffle Control = waffle cup with increased board feel. cushioned heel but a little thinner under the ball of your foot.

thanks for the info! yeah that def sounds interesting. need to at least try one on at some point.
