The perfect remake in my opinion, so good it makes me wanna buy a PS4. (I only played at my friends house)
Kinda cool you can swap the sound effects for the classic sounds too

borrowed it from a friend for few days and decided to buy it for myself. i never played the original version so its all new to me and im loving it. its the only game where i dont get excited when i can progress further cause i know some crazy shit is gonna happen no matter what i do

Still on Bloodborne, then Deus Ex, then Nier, then RE2. Might be in time for a pricedrop/ Game of the year edition.

yess im glad you posted this, i was telling my brother about this run. i watched him do the run through as hunk in like 7 minutes.

Nice! That hunk mode is so hard. I got 11 minutes my first time completing.
Definitely researched strats at work to perfect the s+. Planning routes and racing against time is so fun in this game.

Also: the "X gonna give it to ya!" mod, haha. Bless the modding scene, I gotta get me a better computer soon... there's a really dope-looking mod for Dark Souls 1, but my laptop is too weak to run it :'(

This is a good strategy
There are so many games these days that you can set yourself up to be like 6 months behind the new shit and be stuntin
+cheaper
+less bugs
+less chance of someone spoiling endings/gameplay for you
+walkthrus, mods, and strategies are out
I'm catching up on so much xbox 360 and Ps4 titles while I'm waiting to enter Racoon city myself

I love this game, pre-ordered it and have already done of ton of runs with my gf to see who can get through it quicker. I've always loved the Resident Evil games a bunch, and am excited for 8 and a 3 remake, but I hope 4 stays untouched, that game is a perfect classic on its own.

Finally nearing the end of the first Leon campaign, afterwards I'm gonna do Claire and then run through both B scenarios. Considering doing the secondary scenarios on hardcore mode, but gawdamn do I have bad aim. I have genetically shaky hands, so aiming isn't really for me haha

I agree, the few times I buy the full price game of the moment, I still end up paying what I was already playing for a while before getting around to it. I thought this game was like 40 though no?

My first two runs were 9 hours and 5 hours. It gets easier and easier once your route everything out.

What did you speedrun/what is your Twitch? Probably like 90% of the people I follow on Twitch are speedrunners, they're so fun to watch and you start seeing a lot of the same people in different chats when it's speedruns on older consoles. So many internet buddiez!
My friend Zoast from another messageboard I have been on for like 16 years started streaming for the heck of it years and years back. Back then he would just do like casual paced speedruns of Super Metroid and Symphony of the Night, then it just snowballed & snowballed and now he's the Super Metroid world record holder and has fuckloads of viewers. Twitch is trippy as hell.

Haha yeah i guess there is a following for games of all eras. I havent streamed before so ill definitely be mad awkward when I start.
As far as speedruns go, as fast as I've gotten, going any faster is pretty anxiety inducing. People are doing it at sub 1 hour now. My personal goal is prob around 1 hour 30 mins or so. Might try to do a few challenge runs too. I saw a guy do a knife only on Hardcore. There are so many possibilities...
