yes, but you don’t know how butter my 56 v-cuts are, they slide better than F4s … plus I’ve never really heard good things about OJ, at least about their street wheels …

he actually has more than he shows, but I don’t think he’s the type of “let’s film this specific trick at this particular spot” type of skater, he just flows.

I have one petty complaint about the soundtrack though. Coneheads are great and all, but you're really gonna film an all Hokkaido edit with an all punk soundtrack and not use a single track from the Hokkaido scene?

i think the first pool isn't in Hokkaido right? its like Saitama or Nagano or something around there.
sick video nonetheless. only saw that 2nd bowl once in another hokkaido video and that was short as hell. so now i got a way better view of it.

Yeah, that first one is central Honshu. I’ll ask my friend, he’s been there.
It’s stupidly tight tho, I had a chance to go but didn’t want to spend my afternoon just trying to get a carve .

if you ride it directionally, you'll be fine. Nose is hard to do proper nose slide/ ollie tricks on though. Either way, I still had a tonne of fun on mine and it's now my son's cruiser

I’ve had a couple, felt like a skinny Dane 1. I didn’t have any trouble with the nose but the taper felt weird to me on a narrower deck.

Like many have said, nose is def small but I had a lot of fun riding it. Was able to do my tricks no problem, and now I use it as a cruiser

How would you describe shin’s skating? It’s this combo of transition, wallrides, slappies.

I defs wouldn’t pigeonhole him into any of those genres; he reminds me a lot of skaters like Kenny Reed and even Matt Reason. Very loose style and unique approach to fairly standard tricks. If I-path was still around, he would have to ride for them!

shin reminds me of matt rodriguez a lot which is why i dig him so much. but his surf influence is more overt than any other skater i can think of, especially with regards to actual skate style. i know mad skateboarders surf but he’s always so far back on his board like a surfer and he looks almost stationary, kinda carving his way through a back 3 down a street with a backpack on
