Through today's New York Time's article on Hostile Architecture (https://www.nytimes.com/2019/11/08/nyregion/hostile-architecture-nyc.html?action=click&module=News&pgtype=Homepage) I came to this website that maps out all of the POPS (Privately Owned Public Space) in New York. With photos.
While certainly not made for skateboarders, I can imagine this could serve as a starting point for a catalog of NYC Plazas.
