How does anyone feel after a good session?
I mostly have headaches and my back/hip hurts. But I feel mad happy and excited.
-
Stress relief. Heavy depression at times. Intense relaxation. That's just the psychological aspect. Physically I feel like jelly and in need of a good stretch.
-
Extremely sweaty. Lightheaded and tingly in a sort of weird way, as if I’d inhaled laughing gas. Achy toes and tired knees. Happy.
-
Bruised shins and ego
-
Achy, spent, wet (in more ways than one), relieved, ashamed, dirty, remorseful and sassy.
-
Like shit.
-
Wrecked, rinsed, high and thankful.

like Matt hensley, you stupid ass bitch !

Every time on my way to the store. But that's even when I just walk there.

Amazing, but sore quads/legs.

I will try, just kinda difficult in the winter/when you are not thirsty

My feets hurt something fierce but I feel less stressed about life
-
I'm sore and hurting, but in a good way. I tell myself not to get pissed after an unproductive session, any time you can spend skateboarding is better than any time off the board.
-
My old man knees hurt. Legs hurt. Shins hurt. Calves hurt. I'm sweaty and out of breath. But there's always that sense of satisfaction that I pushed myself. Even if I old landed a few flat ground ollies.
-
I feel great....then when i wake up the next day my bodys sore.

I feel it the worst when I wake up in the middle of the night to pee, screaming internally while I drain the lizard.
-
I skate until I can’t jump anymore and then go home and lie around in a daze. My girlfriend usually asks if I’m stoned.
-
I just need any phys. activity daily or I'm a bit off. So skating works but so would anything for that feeling. To be gross if skate boards didn't exist I'd be scootering prolly.

After a good session which at my age isn’t even if I landed something cool just basics felt good and good hangs with the homies. And even if I go alone and I feel I’m learning something or something feels easier. I just feel happy less stressed and in a better mood. Usually if I’m acting like a cunt I’ll skate and feel pretty good. I try and go at least once a week usually once during work week and once or twice on a weekend but usually at least once a week

Depends on how the session went. It's like a video of myself in my head- some days I feel like Chad Muska other days I feel like a 300 pound 11 year old.

Great question. After yesterday’s session with what seemed like a bunch of pros, I mostly felt like a poser, but seeing all the skill motivated me to get my first drop in on a 6 footer, so I was also happy about that.

if you wait to get thirsty its already too late. staying hydrated for a sesh starts the day/night before. Now that i'm in my late thirties staying hydrated is one of the most important things along with good shoes because my feet really start to hurt these days.

Did I land everything I tried and possibly even props from strangers? Then good.
Did I skate like I had wooden legs designed for Pinocchio? Then: “Hi, crisis hotline? Yea it’s me again...No I didn’t land it this time...”
-
A mix of relaxed and beat. Depending on how the session went, might be limping a little. Overall, good feeling of accomplishment even if I didn't land anything. All fun nowadays.
-
I have problems winding down after a session. With early sessions I might feel hectic all day unless I have something scheduled afterwards. Yesterday I just decided to skate until the late evening then go home and go to bed. Worked out nicely cuz I would have wasted the time I’d spend home pacing around and being hectic.
Other than that if it’s been a good session I feel mostly ecstatic for quite a while. If it’s been a crap session I might be in a really bad mood for a long time. I guess I’m a moody motherfucker who has problems calming down, which really doesn’t sound like me at all. 🤔

absolutely fucken jazzed

Depends if I landed a fat poppy kickflip caught over the bolts. If I do, then it's worth the session. Even if the session is shit but I don't get injured, I still feel good. Just being on the board after years off is a rewarding experience; really glad to have come back after 10+ years.

Sometimes I have trouble driving right after a session. Like my body thinks I'm still on my board or something. I've had some close calls that were really dumb like that.

ego for me, too old for shinners

This reminds me of when I was a teenager and I spent all day playing GTA III at a homie's place. Got in my car to drive home with another friend and he physically had to grab the wheel and straighten it out at one point because I had gotten so used to not giving a fuck about hitting other cars in the game.
After a session, I feel both energized and tired, sometimes riding high, sometimes feeling low, but usually a mix where there's a couple things I'm crazy stoked about mixed in with a lot of "damn, I used to be able to do a whole bunch more than I can now." That's easy to let go of, though, because it isn't shit compared to the fun there to be had in sucking at skateboarding. Epsom salt baths do wonders for fatigue and aches.
-
Happy, I feel happy. Bit sometimes everything is shit.
-
Normally I need a few days I between sessions but stretching and epsom Salts after a long session has been helping. Using a roller stick even if I’m not skating that day as well
-
Awesome I get tired but it’s a good sleep type of tired.
-
i like to smoke some green and rub one out after a session.

Lately I’ve been feeling pretty good after a session, little sore and usually partly bummed that I always seem to be relearning tricks I used to have but always stoked whether it’s for 30mins or 5 hours. I used to be kinda reclusive and skate alone a lot. Now I’ve been skating with friends more. I enjoy both and every time I skate I wish I could do it more, work gets in the way a lot . Even if I’m frustrated I can’t do a f-ing crooked grind still love every second of it. Stretching before/after and foam rolling help me a lot.
