If true I'd be beating my meat instead of a dead horse. But I don't got my hopes up.

They've done this twice already, and both attempts were just horrible.

Honestly, if they just put out the original versions on PSN or available for purchase to be played on PS4 in general, that would be enough for me. Sure some sort of remastering could be cool but part of the fun of playing these now, at least for me, would be that the games aren't so polished/lack of incredible graphics (at the time)/etc. Nostalgia I suppose.

Weren’t they selling the original on THPS via PSN for PS3? I swear they had it on sell for like 9.99 and eventually took down. The original would do just fine my homie has it on n64

I honestly had alot of fun with THPS HD. What was the other remake?

Won't be the same as the originals especially if the soundtracks are changing. I'm comparing to remasters of other PS1 games such as Spyro and Crash Bandicoot. The nostalgia isn't there for the new versions. I remeber PS1 being all polygons and shit. When it's all HD and smooth, I just can't connect to it.

I had thps2 for iOS and played the shit out of it till they stopped supporting the app. Would be stoked for a good mobile skate game

Same! It was so much fun and I was really bummed when they stopped supporting. For a while after I had an old ipod touch that still had it downloaded, but I've since lost said ipod (it's somewhere in my parents basement I think). I'll have to pop over there and sift through some boxes at some point.

It works perfectly on an emulator, even on my $120 android!

This franchise is toxic now; I might watch a review to hear the game get creamed but thats about it.
