Hello. I've noticed that I tend to watch and enjoy goofy footed skate parts because I am goofy. Is it unfortunate that I would be more satisfied if everyone rode goofy?

When I was real young, for some reason, I thought you were goofy if you skated transition and regular if you skated tech stuff.
The only time stance really matters to me is when I want to try a trick either frontside or backside at a spot and the way it's set up it's either I can't do it the way I want, or I have to try it switch, which I know won't happen.
Goofy club over here.

Certain tricks at spots will look better filmed goofy then regular and vise versa. Sometimes I wished a spot was backside or frontside for me but you're bias and it's all the same shit.

When I see a goofy skater I get more into it because I imagine myself doing the trick. It's harder to do that with a regular skater. Most of my favorite skaters are goofy. I'm not sure if it's related but maybe?

Goofy foot here but I'd say 90% of my faves are regular. I actually started skating as regular for the first month or so but switched to goofy to be the opposite of my best friend. Pretty sure we took a vote on who would skate with which foot (we were 10) and that early in the game, it didn't matter skill wise.

When I want to study shaping of someone who’s the opposite stance then me. I will put my laptop on the bathroom sink facing the mirror, then I will record the reflection on my phone. Helps to visualize it in your stance.

I'm goofy and regular-footed skating often feels 'switch' to me when I watch it, even if the skater actually has solid regs style and posture.

My favorite current regular dudes now are Gustav Tonnesen and Albert Nyberg too.
My original hero in 1987 was Hosoi who is also regular even though I probably watched Gonz and Natas video parts more/just as much.

Being regular forced me to skate transition frontside at all times. I used to skate combi back in 03. Watching OG’s hit the lines the way the did backside. I wanted to hit the same lines, but I was regular so I just went frontside from there on. It’s cool cause when I’m on the sesh anywhere, they trip out on my style because everyone be going backside on the tranny mostly. Sometimes the homies and I can go to a spot, they can’t hit it up cause they’re goofy as nibbas

Goofy footers are an inferior breed, real skaters lead with their left foot forward.

I like watching goofy skaters more for sure, I feel like it's easier for me to relate to their skating and helps with visualization etc. Also when they do something switch I can relate a lot more to the whole thing than watching a regular skater do the same thing. Of course I still watch reg skaters.

Goofy skaters have more swag/BDE. There are a lot of great regular pros but my favorite skaters to watch are generally goofy. I'm regular
