Title: SLAP Article (c. late 90s) about Video Days
Post by: redredgray on February 27, 2020, 10:43:55 PM
There was a feature in SLAP from around '98/'99 titled: "Hello Teenage America".  It was about Video Days, written by someone whom (rightly) thought very highly of it.  It was an excellent piece, really a skateboarding essay, one of the better things I'd read in any skate mag, any era.  For some reason I'm remembering the name Scott Yamamura on the by-line.  Been trying to track it down to read again.  Sadly I don't have the physical issue any longer.  Anyone know what I'm talking about?  Thanks!

I don't know the article you're talking about, but SLAP mag always had the best skate essays. Having letters published in inbox or whatever it was called a handful of times as a kid really got me into writing as an art form. MW is the man
