crazy.
he surely would have landed it if he was vaccinated...
-
They're posting the 2nd session later.
i was about to say. he apparently had a baker maker at some point and didn't think he'd be holding on to that if he was swearing off the spot.
also is it really unskateble now? I thought someone figured that gate thing out.
edit: oh damn Full Joslin Etnies part on the 30th?

I think he said in his Nine Club interview that his truck broke when he landed so while he was riding away, he got tossed sideways of his board
-
Pretty hectic how he just kinda blew it on the flick on a lot of those, and then was able to fully commit to the first one that flipped properly
-
bloomin heck
-
insane how casual the ollie was, insane how many times he was able to jump down that. dude is inhuman.
-
Damn, I'm impressed, but will he be able to walk if he makes it to his 40's?
-
absolutely bonkers
-
The first handful of tries should have crippled him. Kind of unfair for him to bail so many times down el toro.

With bad knees at that. Fucking insane.
-

Unbelievable.
-
Didn't dude have a torn ACL at one point in time?
-
I like that he was gearing up to clip the last stair like he always does.

It fake homie. The land is the Ollie at the beginning.
-
You’re an athlete at the top of your sport. You are going to attempt an athletic feat that will push the boundaries of what the human body can achieve. This is what you wear. Skateboarding is funny.
-
Haha would've easily fooled me if I didn't know he didn't make it and hadn't seen the actual footage.
I wonder if it'll ever happen that a pro, or more likely some random kid, tries to put out fake footage
-

lmaooo. he's fucked for even trying it though.
can't see anyone stepping to it now with Joslin saying he's over it

if it's still skateable some kids will give it a shot to try and make a name.
-
That slam was absolutely brutal.
Can't wait to see the rest of his attempts.

Thanks for the smartass response, but what I was getting at was that so many athletes never come back from ACL injuries or if they do they don't go back to how they were before and this dude is just out here still tossing his corpse down shit like it's nothing.
-
Fucked
-
i really like joslin i don't care about the kookiness factor too much as long as he's just killing his own kids
-
So close, but I’m mostly bummed on his silly pants.

-
holy fuck im counting that
-
Why would that count?
-
Honestly bachibskys kickflip was a fluke
El toro is just too big to be skated as a gap
-
I went there once to look at it and it doesn’t even seem possible. Honestly that’s about the highest i like jumping into water
-
Why would that count?
kinda get where hes coming from it wouldn't have happened if his truck didn't break, like rolling away for a second then getting chalkied
-

I think its just a matter of landing perfectly straight, like bachinsky did.
If the one Joslin almost rolled away from fully rotated, he would’ve done it. Because it looks like he took the impact of the Ollie really well.
-
It's amazing that he even rolled away from one for that distance. I wonder how long it takes for someone else to even try again.
-
he didn't even fall, it's a make
-
So the kingpin exploded and the truck stayed pressed down on the heel side? That sucks. Maybe if he had done it with other trucks and they didn't break, he would have had to revert instead and end up with a Baker maker, but I think he had that shit. But maybe he landed too far in the back seat to control it anyway.
-
I already 360 flipped it years ago
-
Watching any el toro attempts always reminds me just how crazy it is that Bachinsky kickfliped it allegedly on a 7.5 inch deck. Also Merlinos switch ollie, I can't even imagine going at it switch.
-
That was fuckin heavy. That Ollie he landed was so casual and the 360 flip I would say that’s a make.
-
catch a 3 flip down el toro. incredible

Is 2020 gonna be the year everyone just gives up and post their abandoned battles?
-
For those of you saying that it counts...where’s your dignity?
-
holy fuck im counting that
Yep, I fuckin count it too
-
respect on the man for doing it, bigger respect for not counting it
-
That’s a make.
-
need to see french joslin step to this after he recovers from lyon
-
Would’ve been a make if he had a part in dying to live
-
do we really need another plan b rider lying about making a trick down el toro?
-
Baker maker
-
Why would that count?
I grew up with 90s skateboarding and I was cool with that...I know today's standards its unacceptable but I would have been juiced on that and would have said good enough
reminds me when chris cole 360 flipped Wallenberg and said bailing like that all those times for that one trick wasn't worth it
-
Would’ve been a make if he had a part in dying to live
Lol, so true, cut as soon as he lands
-
do we really need another plan b rider lying about making a trick down el toro?
He never lied about anything though.
-
Back in his Venture days too?
I can see why he ever put it out...following the heels of sheckler...
-
it is a make in my books
-
He would have totally made it if his truck hadn't fucked up. That said, his truck did fuck up and he didn't make it. I would have quit my truck sponsor that very minute.
-
respect on the man for doing it, bigger respect for not counting it
-
He should have did it switch I would have counted it.
-
In fairness that was more roll away than like a lot of the tricks used in the new Zero video.
-
That's a make if Fat Bill is filming
-
I don't think he was clear as to whether or not he'll go back and try to land it.
-
Wouldn't it be sick if he save a good landing for his next part just to fuck with people?
-
Man that roll away one would mess up my head for life.
-

this is what is so crazy about this. total headfuck
-

I believe he left venture for indy immediately after this. He said so in an indy video I think. I hope you appreciate this info enough to not hate me for admitting I watched an indy joslin video
-

Or if it’s a zero video.
-

What would that trick be called? A reverse Sheckler?
-
This reminds me of Billy's flip boardslide down Wilshire, while I love the trick and the edit in the part he does start to fall off with the way his board is rolling into the planter and his body weight is off to the right.
-
I don't think he was clear as to whether or not he'll go back and try to land it.
-
Honestly bachibskys kickflip was a fluke
El toro is just too big to be skated as a gap
I don't think the kickflip was a fluke at all. dude was in control of pretty much every attempt, and there have now been 10 or so tricks to go down the set.
-

90's definitely a make. These days the younger kids I know call bullshit on Tim's ender in EE3 for stepping off even though he Ollied a street:

To be fair I never counted that Ollie either, though I never watched it in the 90s. It’s a huge Ollie but I always thought, if he could do it once he could do it again and try to not skate at that electrical box for a clean ride away.

See also; Alex Olson's MACBA street Ollie where he steps off. You could argue that that was a sensible choice though as his other option seems to be to plow full speed into a concrete wall.
In Tim's case though it looks like he would have been able to keep rolling....had he been able to stay on his board.

I never had those standards for skaters back then, but we hardly had access to shit so any clip be it sketchy or not in the end wasnt a concern, we were like damn thats cool
-
It's not a full make. But I'd say that if the only reason he didn't keep rolling is due to his truck breaking - something beyond his control - then it shouldn't be discounted either.

Good for him, their lack of durability cost him the trick of his life. I ride Ventures and love them, but I'm not flipping down 20 stairs
-
If that were me Julia Joslin would've found my dead body the next day. What a mind fuck. He should do it on the 20 stair that Tommy Sandoval fs flipped.

If you cut the clip right as he rolls over the crack it looks like a perfect make. I would have just used it as my third to last trick no slomo

heard in the interview with the Chief that the moment he broke the Ventures off trying that he quit straightaway to ride Indy.
