JT (from the IASC may I add) doesn't like what we're saying about he's beloved Zero and an incident of JT's arrogance towards a particularly infamous Albany skate community, so he's putting pressure on the Slap management to delete threads concerning this event.

As far as I know Schmitty is NOT deleting the threads. I asked him and he said he isn't. He's too busy running the Thrasher site.

The SLAP forum is not about censorship. The only things that get deleted are hatefull and petty shit. Unless it's a threead about how much Vegan sucks, I fucking love those ;)

thought i did, but for the record - I didn't delete any of the treads talking about the trouble Jamie Thomas had with getting directions to the Albany pool.
not sure what's going on, but the only thing i can think is that they were deleted because Jamie had a problem with them and told SLAP that they would pull ads or something financial related. but this is just a guess.

i agree that the topic is a little tired, but its not really about the pool, or the clothes, or any one individual thing...its just the principle of the whole thing, and the audiacity and disrespect that it shows. I think that it is fucked to keep deleting threads that are based on people relating their own personal experience with the dude. If he is in fact exerting pressure on someone to do that, fuck him. Makes him worse in my book. I don't care how he runs his company or any of that crap, but this extensive cover-up is ridiculous - if he has any opinion or response as to how he is being portrayed on this board, he should man up and reply himself; none of this CEO advertising revenue-threat shit approach.

I just sat and watched for a while, but it got more and more personal, so I called some of my friends at Slap and asked if they could do me the favor of removing them. They were really cool, apologized for the hate on their message board and pulled them.
