We all like pizza
Tell me about how your crazy pizza place that puts sour patch kids on their slices is the best, or how your freezer pizza is better than any restaurant, or how totinos are the shit...

Jersey’s best is DeLorenzos:

And when I’m up in Connecticut I always eat at Pepe’s:
I’m always down to try a slice wherever but the two above are next level. Want to make it to Lombardi’s one day.

Pizza is great

I can’t post a photo because I don’t live there anymore but, I want to shout out Fellinis pizza in Atlanta. And that slice of pesto looks so good.

I thought this was gonna be a dumpster fire about pizza boards.

Has anyone tried Home Run pizza? Pretty good as far as frozen pizza goes. I miss NYC pizza. Pagliacci's and Italian Family Pizza in Seattle are decent.
-
You guys are way too serious about pizza, it's bread, sauce and cheese
-
In Portland we have a lot of good pizza places, but one that I really enjoy is called Dove Vivi. It's deep dish pizza on a cornmeal crust, you eat it with a knife and fork and all that. It fucks my stomach up because I'm sensitive to dairy but if my plans for the night are just to lie around and watch TV or some shit then there's nothing better.
Sorry in advance to all the pizza purists out there, I know this probably sounds like an abomination

Well what's your pizza spot like then? Pizza good. Do not shame pizza
-
1)Detroit -Buddy’s
2)Chicago -too many great spots you can get every/any style there.
3)NYC- lombardis, can’t remember the others name it’s out kinda by the rockaways but I really like Williamsburg pizza also(they have like potatoes and apples+bacon on square slices)random ass places will have the best slices but be out of business the next time I go back to that neighborhood.
4)Eataly- there are like 20+ Eataly restaurants in Italy and everyone I know that is Italian or been to Italy says their pizzas are exactly like Italy.
Home run Inn- great frozen pizza especially with some garlic salt. But I’ve been ordering frozen Lou malnatis from Chicago to be sent to my house.
Heard Boston has the best Italian food so wouldn’t be surprised if they have better pizza than NYC.

Sounds like a Ginos East pizza
Deep dish or stuffed pizza is great/better than cracker pizza and “pizza purists” are just from Jersey or NYC and can’t appreciate anything else.
-
Oh used to go to this place that had baked ziti on top of the pizza in jersey that shit was legit.
Also I weirdly like Artichoke(in nyc) vodka slices cold. Do not have them reheat it. That vodka sauce cold is amazing. All their other pizza is gross also.
-
I would take a bullet for pizza
-
Would love someone to tell me the difference between grandma, sicilian and “square” nyc pizza.
Barstool sports guy is very accurate in the videos I’ve just watched from places I’ve been to, although he doesn’t like cold pizza or anything that isn’t crispy east coast so he should even judge those. I’ll be watching pizza videos all night.

Portland has some rad pizza spots. As popular as it is I’ve never liked Sizzle Pie. Way too greasy. Baby Doll or Straight from New York are good. The best pizza I ever had though was a dollar slice in New York:( can’t wait to go back.

There's a time and a place for everything, in my opinion. If I'm out skating, then of course I'll grab a couple cheap slices at the local (used to be a place called Vincentes/Blackbird next to the skatepark). But if I want to get put in a food coma and drag my ass around the house for the rest of the evening, I'll go for something a little more dense and incapacitating.
I am also enjoying this thread. No need to bash other pizza styles from different regions, I just like to hear what you guys have around where you live.

Delorenzo's is one of the best pizza places if not the best in New Jersey. Honorable mention is Papa's right around the corner. As far as places in NYC I've been to. I'm gonna say Johns of Bleeker Street and Scarrs Pizza are aweaome.

He’s probably talking about reviewing pizza just guessing (:

I have place nearby that does a wild Grandma style pizza. It's huge too. Anyone else on here like dipping their pizza in honey mustard?

Press the Mona Lisa icon and then paste your picture into the middle of the brackets.
I just had my Friday night pizza and it was worth the week long wait. Nothing fancy but the shops oven is 40-50 years old, which I believe makes for a better slice than the newer ovens. All the 70s-80s strip mall pizza joints really do pizza by the slice well.
Next time you are in lower Manhattan try the pizza at Joe’s. It is perfect by-the-slice pizza.

Also, Mr. K—mustard pizza is a real thing in Central NJ.

Can’t get a good one here thanks for reminding me, asshole.
Had one dece Italian joint but I moved
Best chains in Southern Hemisphere id have to say shakeys, yellowcab, greenwich
PH does American food pretty well
To me, anyway. Something about the dough
Had a legit looking one in New Caledonia but the waiter cracked an egg on it, like right in front of me before I could stop him, ruined
I haven’t tried honey mustard but I would
You guys ever ask them not to cut it?
Roll that sumbitch up and eat it like a kebab
It’s nice like that

Paisans Pizzeria is my go to here, I might catch some slack for this but I'm not that into Giordano's.

Bay area folks, can we get some respec for Arinell’s in SF? If there’s a more proper quick pizza joint around I’d love to know about it. Pretty decent rockers who work in there too
-
Best pizza I ever ate was in SF, i honestly don’t remember the name of the place, I was just on vacation and only spent 3 days there.

Pictou County, NS. Real smoked pepperoni, spicy brown sauce, loads of cheese. Best shit.

I'm so psyched that pizza technology has made it all the way to Nova Scotia! Update us when you guys get tomatoes!!
-
If that’s not interesting enough, there’s also the east coast delicacy referred to as donair pizza;
There’s a bit of diced tomato on there, but they’re still a rare commodity around here, so we use them sparingly.
-

As someone who makes a handsome income delivering my local restaurant's scratch Pizza, I have to.
Even Congress who "voted that anything containing two tablespoons of tomato sauce can be labelled a vegetable, putting pizza into the vegetable category" ruled it a serious thing.
That being said, I'd pay to smell a NY pizza shop again.

Fair enough, dude! As an enlightened earthpal I would never begrudge you for living in a third world country... we can probably get a tomato seed drive going...
(sorry those pizzas actually look pretty interesting, would try)

Arinell is bomb for a quick slice. Gialina in Glen Park is kind of on the bougie-r side but might be the best pie I’ve had in the city. Capo’s in North Beach for the best deep dish. If you’re in the Sunset, the Pizza Place on Noriega goes hard

Pizzarium Bonci in Rome was mind blowing. Not sure when us Americans will get the opportunity to travel to the EU again, but it’s a must if you find yourself near the tourist trap that is Vatican City
