There's been some more footage of PJ out lately, maybe he's finally ok with being himself and just said fuck it and switched to the headwrap.
I always dig PJ footage and hopefully he can at least keep putting out little clips here and there.
Now days, his type of skating isn't something people want to wait for or watch in a video with a bunch of hype.
He's still innovating it's just not something that needs to be blown up like a 360 flip on El Toro.
I actually think it's best he just continues to put out little stuff to show he's skating.

Definitely. Any footage with red bull hats will not age well. Imagine 20 years from now when these energy drink pros look back on their videos and they have those stupid logos plastered to their heads. The gnarliness of whatever they did will get lost in the nascar vibe.

PJ is an all time great but I can't lie and say he didn't kinda nuke his career man. I loved him after watching WHL numerous times but all my friends of a similar age (around 25) who haven't looked into WHL, just think he's that boring dude who lands all the tricks from every BATB when they were a kid. It's sad to see/hear but what can ya do? Curious to know what people even younger must think of him?

I think I might be the biggest fan of PJ on this site, but I have to agree with you. Those are trick we've already seen. But hey, at the same time, these videos are just instagram clips filmed with a gopro.
I don't agree on the going downhill since sorry tho, he's just been doing the same stuff.

Purpteefs influences are literally and only the weird fisheye angles from recording your Skate 3 sessions. The angles, the edits, the music, and its fucking PJ Ladd that you're skating as! It all adds up now.
