Title: Opinion on Ben davis carpenter denim pants?
Post by: vz3592 on July 18, 2020, 12:03:07 AM
I saw that out of many of the pants, the ben davis carpenter denim have the widest leg opening.

Did any of you guys ever skate in these pants? If so, what is your experience with them. Please tell me.

If you think there are better pants to skate in, please refer it in your comment. Thank you

Much thicker than regular bens! High waist, kinda low placement of the back pockets. I've skated them but a bit too heavy for my tastes. Well made and durable though.

Thank you for your response!  :) When you mean by "little too heavy", do you mean did it affect you from skating well or did it just take more effort for you to lift up your legs to do tricks? What is your opinion on the regular Ben Davis pants that you mentioned?

Thanks again!

Just sweaty; ymmv but I wouldn't want to spend all day skating in any carpenter jeans. The regular bens are great, more expensive but nicer material than dickies (though quality has lapsed a bit in recent years.)

I think they're kinda ugly.

Eh, it don't matter if they don't look good. Just need a baggy, durable, and pretty breathable denim or pants to skate in because I keep getting scrapped on my legs.

Thank you for this! However, most people there are talking about the polar pants, which I would definitely buy if it weren't 100+ dollars. Should i save up for that?

Ben davis pants is baggy, and it is also cheaper.

Have you had experience with them?

just got pair of the classic cut ben's in black and gorilla cut in grey, both very roomy and rad for skating...I would definitely try the gorilla cut if you're trying to maximize leg opening, though it is creased like dickies...fucking great pants, I have a hard time taking them off

i've never had the denim ones, but my original bens are for sure the nicest pant's i've ever owned for skating. and they're baggy as fuck.

Does Ben's use vanity sizing or are they true to size like Dickies?
