I'm not a gamer at all, this is just something that pops through my mind occasionally; there was this game on a site i used to go on in the early 2000s, i feel like it was a skate site like a magazine or a company page and on there was this real basic aerial view (i think) 8 bit-ish (i think) kind of game where you would skate around a neighbourhood like roads and footpaths and maybe sometimes there were cops or other hazards. it's obviously not that clearly memorable to me but it lingers for unknown reasons and sometimes i try to google it and i just never find anything.
crazy sentence up there. i'm pretty baked. let me know if you know <3

720? Skate or Die?

not sure but your description has made me want to go and play paperboy

unrelated but anyone remember that etnies street sesh game? Elementary school was fun

sorry, I should've mentioned that I know it's none of the games we are all aware of. it's like a more basic version of when you're skating around in 'skate or die'.
i didn't know 'paperboy' but when i look at screenshots of 'paperboy' it kind of looks similar. moreso than comparing what's in my brain to 'skate or die'.
thanks for trying thus far <3

Normally I'd not particularly recommend a Mac but since they have Firewire built in it's easier. When I had to use Firewire I had no issue with a random Firewire card off eBay, whereas my friend had to go through 3 before he found one that worked and even then it's a bit flaky. I will say that generally, if you looked for a used gaming PC around $300 you'd get better performance than an equivalent price point used Mac, then you'd just have to put a firewire card in there.

"Paper Boy", "Sk8 or Die" and "T&C Surf Designs" sum up childhood gaming experience.

Real briefly had some 8bit games that tied in with a board series in the early/mid 2000s; maybe you played on dlxsf.com?

Was it that flash game on the tum yeto site? I think it was tum yeto anyways. If I remember you would bomb a hill and have to hit the space bar to ollie cop cars and manhole covers and stuff. I think you could powerslide to speed check too. Anyone remember that? Probably around the early 2000’s
