They could have cut that whole first part of the video. Brazil is almost as bad as the US in the covid19 numbers so I understand why it had to be this way.

Lucas is a kids favorite here in Brazil, just like Luan. I see a lot of kids with skating his board. Also Rabelo is pretty relatable for kids here, since he came from the hood. With that in mind, i think flip boards probably sell more here than in the US. It's a good move for flip actually.

It's funny because a bunch of brands no one cares about are in it (Almost, Flip, Birdhouse, Zero) and a ton of the most popular brands aren't (Real, Krooked, Quasi, Palace). Funny thing is Bob still rides for Flip, but for some reason has Anti-Hero and The Firm decks, whereas all the other guys with new sponsors have those brands.

He's really good so congrats to him for turning pro. Flip seems to pursue a localized strategy now where they try to appeal to local markets by turning people who are big in one particular country pro, even if they're not that famous elsewhere, rather than having global superstars. Same with when they turned Denny Pham pro, he's big in Germany but largely unknown elsewhere. No idea if it's working or not though
