Hearing the Scherben in an Anti Hero edit made my day, magnificent! Just as the creaky guitars came one an air raid siren went off outside, making it sound even more ominious and epic.
Skating was top notch obviously, Pfanner knows how to do it. Why do more than a kickflip down those 5 stairs if your kickflip looks like that? Same with the half cab the triple/quad set?, the fakie ollie over the handrail and so on... perfect.
And I want that definitive Daan part fast.

Trust Fall was a little over a year ago and Daan had lots of heavy stuff in that. All in Nikes too I believe. Maybe he's just sitting on footage for AH and gives the new stuff to the big money sponsor?
I just read that Pfanner interview yesterday so it was a treat to see this when I got home from work today. I like the focus on one rider but have clips of other riders throughout format that AH has been putting out. I watch the Christmas Kanfoush edit every couple of weeks.

fuck that was intense. after the two insane tricks by daan i also thought he would steal the "show" but then the 180 and 50-50 went down and it was a wrap. how good must it felt doing that ender and having your son on the session, hoping you'll do the trick.
song choice was excellent, though i think it is kinda funny that max pack (german filmer who films a lot with pfanner) is from cologne and a lot of spots were in cologne and a local video from cologne used that song a while ago (i know, nobody cares)

i am not taking the bait, i am not taking the bait, i am not taking the bait...
but seriously, it's kinda interesting that there are similarities, rory and rio were roughly the same age and died a year apart or so. they even look similar in some pictures. rory solo and the scherben were starting to publish music around 1970. i'd say it's some sort of congruent evolution. especially since musical trends were slower to migrate anywhere. it's possible that members saw rory play live in germany before he went back to ireland. but who cares. *cough*

He's had a really gnarly knee injury but I believe is starting to get back skating now.
He had a small tear in is acl, took time out to recover and then after starting to slowly skate again completely tore it. Like I said though pretty sure he is starting to skate again now. Hopefully new footage soon!
