Title: Locking threads

So, i don’t really get this. Locking a thread means only your pals can comment? I had always assumed i couldn’t see locked threads but you can.
Outsiders are allowed to get your opinion but you do not want theirs? Why don’t you just have a private conversation with your friends? Why start a thread?

Might sound bitter but not really, well maybe a little. I am truly curious of the point.

locktite blue is for when you want to break it open again, locktite red is permanent
