Damn, how many pairs of the 3ST.002 has he hoarded?
-
Worst spot aesthetics I've seen in a video in a long time. Looked like someone got in the park editor and copy-pasted a bunch of Cali spots into post-industrial middle America. It's an unabashedly Covid-era document, so maybe that's appropriate or intentional. At any rate, I thought California would be more diligent about picking up their trash.
-
This dude is a footy machine
-
That man good!
-
enough with the mask filler.
-
Miles Silvas rips with style. He also wears shorts. The plot thickens...
-
enough with the mask filler.
It was like 10 seconds in a 4:16 minute part...

dude he's just skating around sacramento. chill.
-
I thought the thread title was Mason Silva for a second and was about to say whaaat the fuuuuck another part?!
-
undeniably good. still seems like a jock asshole from his interviews.
shorts + white socks + white shoes is very yucky. especially if the shorts are cargo shorts. what the fuck
-
Wow! Not even a week after that REALLY Short Part’ ! He’s a machine, give him SOTY already! Bet you Element wishes he was still on! Take that, Schillerif!

Yeah, I definitely came across like an asshole, but still...mow the grass, Sac Town; pick up the trash.
-
nice to see short "regular length" parts like this and mason silva. no bullshit fillers, just skating. good part but whats up with that caption "murkin the ledge game to mac dre" hahahaha. good song choice, though.
-
he really likes those shoes...
do they even still make those?
-

You're going to be disappointed when you actually watch the part.
-
That whole jock thing is still a thing huh? Is it because he’s just extra good and kinda seems healthy? I watched part of his nine club and it just seemed like a grown up skate kid.
-
amazing skating fucking shit...the double set spot was dope to see...ender melted my face...his style is super chill antwuan
+1 on the Bay music
...yea not feeling the shoes either
-
He is so fucking good. I hope he makes a soty push next year. It would be brutal to have mason Silva and miles silvas both be front runners for it.
But I noticed 2 things
1. He can pull off any style of hat, including a bucket, which is almost as impressive as his switch game.
2. I love Mac Dre, but seeing as the part was entirely in Sacto; they should have used a brotha lynch hung track.
-
Miles has undeniably one of the best skaters out. Don't hear much about him in between parts but his footage is always flawless.
-
Really good no filler part. Miles kills it.
-
As someone who also enjoys skating in basketball jerseys I enjoy him. Great style and some wild ledge shit in there. That ender is fucked too.
+1 for Mac Dre
-
https://youtu.be/59Ch5sQXTrA
-
That was good.
"The End" gave me a laugh.
-
Swear I thought this was another Mason part and I was shocked.
2. Miles is SO damn good, its crazy
3. Coulda done without most of those lines at the beginning. Rest was lit.
-
Really good no filler part. Miles kills it.
-
Incredible. I just wish he didn't put out that Berrics Push part, I can't disassociate him from that.
-
Mac Dre for the win!
This dude is really good, hella tech. He fits on Primitive well
-
I thought the thread title was Mason Silva for a second and was about to say whaaat the fuuuuck another part?!
Haha I almost read it as Mason Silva but regardless part was sick !!

I think everyone had to do a double take.
-
His ledge lines tend to be kind of boring, but his rail/gap skating is spotless.
The Mac Dre made up for the boring first half. Anybody else think his pants tend to look like parachute pants?
-
That was good.
"The End" gave me a laugh.
Should've gone with "Fin" in flickery black and white with an ornate border

First half though at the same exact spot was a bit boring. Started to get hyped after the 1st half of the video.
-
What are those?!
-
Haven’t watched it yet, but I will say.. if you stack up his footage from 2019 next to TJ’s, I think it’s pretty obvious who killed it harder.
dude TJ won SOTY in 2018.
-
Flawless

this week has been a heavy one. crazy parts from everyone

crisp.

Nah I kind of agree. Like, we get it, it's a global pandemic right now, I don't need to be reminded between every clip.
That being said, part was dope. Dude has so much power skating switch.

Ah shit that’s right, my bad. Well I know he wasn’t beating Milton or Mark, but if he did it would’ve been deserved.
-
Damn, that second part was noice. Why do so many skaters put out parts for Spitfire? Is it in the contract or something?
-
like his skating but his clothing and music taste are horrific
-
undeniably good skater but sac scene is just so corny i can't get behind it (disclaimer: grew up in that area)

the white socks bothered me too, they are gross looking and I haven't owned a pair in years and years

"Hey Miles lemme get some B roll shit for your part. But take off the mask first we don't want people on Slap to get upset."
Part was good but I already forgot everything about it and will probably not watch again. But I remember liking it so fuck it give him SOTY.
-
He’s so insanely good. He kinda skates like an NPC though. Like, he skates fast but his body moves so slowly/heavily or something. It’s kind of hard to explain but it irks me. Questionable kits at times too (bucket hat is dope tho). Had a hard time telling what stance he is at times. Switch heel back 5050? Okay. So wild.
-
pretty smooth part there, respect to the furly man
-
Dude rips, had to laugh at the cargo shorts/polo/backward hat fit tho because he looked like some frat boy who just stumbled out of a greek life party blasting a massive switch heel over that bump to bar.
-
That abandoned mall ledge spot he skates in the first half seems like a warm up spot you end up skating all day
-

thats called control youngster
-
He has amazing style and obviously shreds, but I never like how his parts are put together. Too bro-ey

Thank you. It's not necessary and it's already getting corny. Anyone with a brain knows that the filmer and Miles were less than six feet apart at the next spot filming a line. I guess if Adidas asked to include mask usage that's fine..
-
As good as he is, thug life soundtrack to a guy playing with toys at strip malls is not terribly thugish.
-
2. I love Mac Dre, but seeing as the part was entirely in Sacto; they should have used a brotha lynch hung track.
Agreed with Brotha Lynch comment. Would have been more fitting seeing it was all Sacramento spots. In some way, I like how Miles is like Biebel in the sense that he doesn't do any trendy tricks or things that doesn't fit his style. It's always kind of the same type of parts with just very clean skating.

Just curious....why the Sac scene is corny? To me it always felt like just a small town but some people tell me it can be ghetto and others will tell me it's boring and others will tell me it's the shit. I can't really figure out who is right.

I’m 34 and nah. His style isn’t fluid, it’s very heavy, not quite rigid or stiff, but just slow...careful almost. It’s genuinely hard to describe but I can’t say I like it.
-
He is too smooth.
Like, literally, he makes everything seem kinda boring and without risk.
He also suffers sometimes from "Felipe Gustavo syndrome", i.e. only hitting the last couple inches of the ledge. I understand that not every trick needs to be just sat upon for yards, but I hate it when dudes are just nibbling the ends of ledges.
In summary, amazing, amazing talent that I just cannot get excited about at all.

people from there who "rep 916" really try to put sac on the map and pretend like its something other than a boring capital city with a mediocre scene and bland spots. idk just the (biased) opinion i have after living there for some time. i'm sure some people actually think it's the shit, but i have a hard time getting excited about anything that comes out of sac

I can agree with that. The lines tended to drag on in the first half even though most of that footage was crisp and clean. At least he makes up for it in the second half killing rails, stairs, and gaps. He's obviously talented but his kits and his approach in his lines just kill the excitement.
-
Minus the mask comments this dude is a freak. We took him and JoeFace to the plastic 12 rail in the hallway in Charlotte when they were filming for Duets. He switch back lipped it first T and did probably 30 switch back tails back to back, didn't miss one, to warm up to try switch back tail shove. Unfortunately he didn't get it but watching that dude's process is fucked. Much Respect.
-
Dudes got one of the sickest styles out, part was solid
People giving him shit for shorts but giving Ishod a pass for jorts. If anything the purple pants were worse.

Miles lands bolts so consistently that he's earned a shorts pass

People are stretching so fucking hard with the nit picking on here it’s hilarious tbh. There’s an unwritten rule on here that if you’re insanely talented then all the comments have to revolve around bitching about clothes, spots, and song choices. Fuck atta here with that shit already. Guy is fucking stylish phenom and can rock whatever the fuck he wants. Skating’s subjective, but I wouldn’t trust half you kooks’ judgement on what’s ill, that’s for damn sure.

Mac Dre lived in Sac for a time. His compound from Treal TV was in Sac. Miles would look pretty silly skating to Brotha Lynch.
This guy is a very top tier talent. Lots of reaching in this thread to hate.
-
Nollie bs overcrook (or whatever that's called nowadays) is a trick I really can't wrap my head around on big rails. Also, that nollie bs heel tailslide bigspin was insanely smooth.
-
I don't think Miles could pull of skating to lynch. If you need a sac rapper, I'd go Mozzy with a female singing the hook.
-

I agree about it being next to impossible to find anything to hate about this one, the skating is just exceptional. Everything is so smooth, solid, confident and so fucking difficult.

True, I know he lived there the last years of his life. I was just saying when most people think of Mac Dre, they think of Vallejo.
I think Datz Real Gangsta for the first part at those ledges and Jackin 4 Joints for the second track would be fucking sick.
But as I said I’m huge Miles fan and a huge Mac Dre fan, merely an observation and my unsolicited opinion.

This. One reason why I loved the One Stop line so much. I wish he’d mellow out a bit in terms of music and gear, more elegance would suit him well. I am sure I’ll like old Miles’s parts.
Also, even though the first section was a bit boring, it is incredible how far we have gotten since Koston’s ender in Mouse.

Wow, I kinda forgot about that one. He's always been next level.

That Felix Brothers track is such a guilty pleasure of mine. I love dudes skating. Would I dress like him? No. But god damn he rips.
-
never been a huge fan but dont hate the guy either. i hate most Cali footage now, i guess. does some cool shit. kits & tricks arent really my style. hes still one of the best on the board rn!

I mean it worked perfect for Pat Burke. That’s probably because it was pretty unassuming...
100% agree on the reaching. Miles has been putting it down for years.
Great part, love Mac Dre (though undeniable best part to a Mac Dre song goes to Marcus McBride).
I’ve met dude a number of times and he’s super chill, kinda quiet, and nice. I can understand where the “jock” vibe comes from, I see it more as a “grew up with money” vibe.
In regards to all the people who thought it was Mason, from what I hear all we’ve seen was just the beginning.
-
He would benefit from a VX part. Or having a better editor/filmer. Shane O’Neil with Jacob Harris showed that for me.
-
40 ounces and chronic dice
-
Some of you guys trying too hard to hate. Probably the same dudes who love Aiden Mackey's dirt manuals.
-
The way he popped out that nollie overcrook on the rail people used to skate all the time was ill.
-
I wasn't planning on watching but got bored and sure enough it was so boring and bad I could not make it past 2 minutes before I turned it off
-
People sure funny. This is better than 90% of shit people are putting out and it's for a wheel sponsor..
-
Those are wine colored pants. I'm in the burgundy and wine colored skate clothing camp. It reminds me of gigantic bob shirts in those hues.

Just lol. Please expand. I’m honestly curious to hear your thoughts on this “bad” skateboarding...

The skill level is off the charts with this dude. I'm always stoked when he blesses us with some new footy.

This mans clearly does not fuck. And if he does it's never from behind.

damn i loved how he skated to mac dre. and yeah as someone said it was an amazing part for a Spitfire part. also dope how different his and Franky's parts were.

This dude is really good but I have never liked watching him skate, idk if it’s the way he dresses or his style but it’s so bland and uninteresting. It’s not bad but it’s boring.
-
those were slams?
Yeah, I think he was having a reasonably good time. Surprised he didn't go faster after not clearing the gap over and over again.
