I searched and didn’t see a topic on this already, my bad if I’m wrong.
1. Fakie ollies down gaps and stairs. People do them over stuff more often now, but you still don’t see a lot of straight fakie ollies down sets.
2. Backside nosegrinds on rails. It’s a tricky one because it makes more sense to just pinch into a crook or overcrook, but I swear in the early 2000s I saw more back nosegrinds on square rails at least.
3. Frontside full cabs. An easy trick to learn and do with ugly pivots as a little kid, but I think I’ve seen one total in a video and it actually looked sick when done well.

I would say fakie 360flips down stairs/gaps but the one Miles Silvas did over the rail recently was satisfying enough to where I don’t even need to see another one.
And I would agree that a nice lofty, fakie ollie down shit (no shifty, straight on) is something of beauty when done well.

Good thread. Definitely agree on the fakie ollie. Absolutely love how tyshawn made front shifty his thing. Proper back shiftys, street grabs (off lil bumps not just down stuff), fakie hardflips, switch inward heels, back nosegrind nollie flip/heel.

Finally a flip to primo slide on the axles a square rail. I've seen a clip of Slash accidently landing into one on this curved rail from a deathwish video outtake but to see actually go down would be sick

I was gonna say this, both frontside and backside. Austyn Gillette said in an interview his least favorite tricks were those with foods in the name, which was pretty funny, but it would be interesting if this trick made a comeback.

I have always liked the way that the board moves through a kf bs 5-0 down stuff. I feel like it was a very common trick in the early 00s, but I rarely see them anymore.

Double cab on vert - Hawk was trying it in the 90s, but in some interview he said it probably was impossible. Don't want to see them more often, just once would be fine. (Jake Brown did 720 ollies over mega gaps though)
Also I would like to see a 540 flip on vert or mini. 540 ollies look cool, so a proper 540 flip probably too. (I've seen people doing them sliding the last 180, doesn't really count.)
Also I have never seen a frontside 540 ollie on a mini.

It should be generally accepted etiquette to grind or slide rails/ledges/etc. to the very end and not drop off earlier.

I wish people would stip over using 360 flips in lines. It's arguably the goat of flip tricks, and I wouldnt want people to ditch them, but they're a touch over used in lines specifically.

Nollie inward heel revert, Nollie hard flips, kickflip to any fs grind on a rail is always sick. A good ghetto bird, backside nose blunts, especially switch. Switch fs 360. Most of these aren’t super uncommon I guess, but they’re just a few of my favorites.

Only one that really looks cool is bs 360 no complies and i can do them (heelflip Position,lean towards your front foot while turning you shoulders, put your front foot down, Smack your tail, guide it through your feet with back foot, turn shoudler, ride away). It just gotten to the point where its not alternativ at all. I dont need to see this anymore.

I'd actually take a switch back bigspin or even sw three shuv over a switch tre. Apart from BATB, they are two tricks where I personally cannot think of any specific instances of them being done.

I feel Nollie and Switch Inwards have been accepted for a long time. You sort of see the inverse with Hardflips, most people like them Regs and to a lesser extent fakie. Whereas people dislike switch and nollie hardflips since so many have been done with the illusion flip look.
