I am curious as to how many Slap pals and others are into transition terrorists like Peter Hewitt.
A recent post just made me think I hadn't really seen anything of him on here, although there are a few posts of videos here and there with him in it.
I also like someone's comment about this "if you can’t deck em don’t do em" which also rings true of how he skates.

I meant to post this earlier, but this was a stand out part, from four and a half years ago now.
No surprise I would wear that same wardrobe every day of my life I think, if not the specific brands, at least the look, but I am into the same brands - Vans shoes, Dickies (not Volcom), Antihero, Independent, Spitfire, etc.

This was the compilation of earlier footage I was looking for which is nice all in the one video.
This guy has compiled footage from quite a few rad dudes, and well worth a check of his youtube page.

That boosted frontside boneless made me yell the first time I watched this part. The Miller flip a couple clips later is an absolute masterclass. Hewitt is one of the best pure transition skaters, ever.

Great board stance and intent!!!

Great board stance and intent!!!
It is the combination of short dude (and I mean so very short) and the 14.5 long wheelbase on the 8.38 boards.
I used to always think he had a super long board, but when we met him on a tour, he was the shortest dude there, so it makes sense that he always looks like he is riding such a long board - the same board I ride but I am tall and the size fits right for my skating - mainly transition nowdays anyway.

This is bananas. I skated this park in recent months and that depend is so slow and haggard it makes no sense how he got up that 12' wall to do this. Jan 23 ad. The man is not slowing down...

Hewitt is an absolute ruler and just to show how long he's been on top of game, here's young Pete centerfold from Poweredge January 1989, shot by Dan Sturt.

peter hewitt: the only skater you could describe as totally one-dimensional and mean it as praise.

pulled this 411 out a bargain bin back in 2002 and I've always thought the voiceover/skating was rad as fuck.

Dude hauls ass on a polarizer and seems like a top cunt.

Astoria! He had an ad there from 2002 where he was blasting a judo on the same wall. Insane! PFH

Can anyone think of street-hewitt appearances? I saw a vid of him doing a pretty big pop-shuv up a euro gap recently and i think in one anti hero vid he ollied a flat gap, along with the rest of the team
One of the best to do it and the best unique style ever
-
Smokes hella weed, and if He actually doesn’t I’d be hella surprised. EAGLEIZE IT.
Remember watching tent city and being mesmerized by his skating (and I was pretty anti transition at the time). He’s got a classic timeless style, balls of steel and a sense of humor

Oh, he definitely does. The first time I met him I was 18 on a high school graduation road trip out to PDX. We were staying with Hammeke, and he let us know that if we wanted to smoke, go knock on Peter's door. That was the first time, being from the midwest, that I had ever seen so much green weed. He also broke Salba's pipe at the Denver bowl a few month's later when we linked up there.
