I’m in recovery myself so I know tons of Novak types. I can handle them just fine.
Mikey is the dude that knows a little bit about something and thinks he’s an expert. But he’s trying to make a career of talking about making money like he knows some secret. Just make your money and fuck off if it’s so easy.
That tax break post was laughable. Honestly can’t tell if he’s a naive idiot or trying to convince us it’s true.

thats just wild corny to me, standing in the most drug filled area of any city to take that photo while undoubtedly shrieking with his burnt tinfoil heroin voice about how everyone should "follow him to the light". he was outed on here in the Bam mudmania superthread about the program he works for. he makes like a grand for every person he can get into a bed in this supercult christian inpatient program (bam was claiming he got 5k but i dont believe that) which is how andy roy ended up in a pennsyslvania rehab for 24 hours after bams gathering of the jugs. then dipped the next day because thats how that goes, and novak gets paid regardless. helping people is cool but novak is the fucking worst.

How does one get in on this scam? I could probably still sleep at night if the worst thing I did was get somebody to go to rehab.
It basically amounts to human trafficking. Rehab centers milk insurance and don’t treat the patient. It’s basically a pill mill but with humans they can make money from. When the center is done billing off the patient they toss them out and they are effectively a homeless drug addict usually in a state far from home.

Haven’t listened to it, but there’s a massive amount of common phrases and terms in AA that members use all the time. That and when you travel around as a speaker you get your story down pretty good.
