What bands or musicians you can't stand? When I hear Journey, Abba, Cold play, or U2, I want to stick Q-tips in my ears to stop the bleeding. Nick Cave gets on my nerves as well.

i saw the singer of the shags open for someone once and i have never been more confused in my life. she had hired guns playing all the instruments and they were seriously struggling to play, and producing this off-time, key-less mess. i couldn’t figure it out until someone in the headliner said their name and i could google. she also had new solo material and the songs were all in proper time with real notes and the band would kill it on those songs effortlessly and then go back to playing terribly with deep concentration. in retrospect it was impressive to watch people play so aggressively against what they know, but at the time the effect was very confusing

No idea what Wayne has been up to musically as of late, but on the Carter III and I will definitely be into it.
I used to find Pearl Jam annoying, but the fact that Dennis Rodman was so into them has made them a little interesting to me again. I think the worm is sick. Also I got goosebumps when they came on over that final ceremony the Bulls did with Phil Jackson in the Last Dance doc. Only time their music has moved me like that!

Stoner Rock. I love the earliest stuff, Blue Cheer and Sabbath and such.. and I do dig Sleep, but other than that I can't stand it. Every goddamn video on Thrasher that kicks off with that downtuned, groovy riff gets skipped immediately (and I feel like that's about 80% of them). Not sure how it became such a skateboard video staple.
