Title: San Clemente, CA
Post by: concreteonly on February 20, 2021, 05:44:33 PM
Getting back into skating and currently living in San Clemente. Are there any good ledge spots in the OC area surrounding San Clemente?

If you don't mind the drive, in downtown Santa Ana there's a bunch of ledge spots. The library there has good ledges.

Excellent slappy curbs in Costa Mesa, but I’m sure there’s some by you. In the creekbed at El Toro Park in Mission Viejo/Lakeforest there’s that metal-coped ledge that’s in a bunch of videos, but gets pretty unskatable during bad weather.

There’s a jersey barrier spot right by Trestles too if that’s your jam.

A little bit of a drive down the 5 but there are some baseball fields/parks in Irvine that used to have good ledge spots. I am not living in the area anymore so I can't tell you the quality or if they're capped or not currently

I could find them on Google maps if you need. feel free to PM

There are some tall curb sized ledges in the chase parking lot over by Del Mar Street, there are some butter benches as SC high, and there is always a long ass ledge outside Sheckler's warehouse. I have only skated Shecks ledge at night though not  sure if theres a bust factor.
