Title: Okinawa?

has anyone ever been?

i have no plans to go, but when things clear up its near the top of my list.
i've been very intrigued lately. is it worth my time? is it worth the intrigue?

anything would be appreciated

Yeah man. I went when I was in the Marines. Naha alone is worth the trip but I'd try to get to Nago at the North end of the island for snorkeling or scuba diving.

Did you skate any of the janky on base skateparks?

I remember trying to skate and insane asphalt half pipe on one of them. Some construction company made out like a bandit on that one.

Okinawa is great, defo worth a trip. You'll need a car to travel around and enjoy everything the island has to offer.
Avoid the major beach spots. They suck and find a way to charge you.

Anyone know of any spots in Chatan? This'll be my 3rd time to Okinawa and wondering if it's worth bringing my board.
 I remember seeing this crazy blue pool/fountain thing in a few videos that looks like fun, I don't suppose anyone here knows about it?
