The rumours have been circulating for quite a while now but in Diego’s newest Instagram post he’s skating a Palace deck so looking like confirmed.
Hasn’t been in any of the new April drops and has not put out footy for them since his welcome part
I wonder where he’ll go. Glad to see him skating again

I think it was speculated about a lil on the Cyrus Bennet episode on the Bunt. It definitely seems like he’s of. I can see him fitting in well on Palace for sure.

Part of me wonders if he had some family/people very close to him with health issues and took covid incredibly serious as to not endanger them. So, just not out, not skating at all, etc... or maybe lost some people during early covid and was going through it.

As much as I don't want to agree with this, I must. Diego should have stayed on Primitive. It's a much better fit.

I also agree. He fit really well over there but he got on because of Shane so it makes sense why he left for April. I bet he wasnt down with the productivity level they expected from him during covid, as he was one of the only pro skaters to take the pandemic seriously and stay inside.

personally I dont even care about what brand he is, I just care about primitive cuz they do more projects than everyone in the industry, riding for primitive = guaranteed footage every year!

I met the dude before and he was super friendly. Surprisingly one of the nicer pros I’ve ever met believe it or not. I have a friend that works for one of the former companies he rode for and said he was humble and easy to work with.
As for April - I heard that he got offered a decent paybump to go over there, and that was part of the reasoning behind the move
