So before I waste 14 minutes of my life, is this more about skating gaps or about getting to know Ryan Decenzo. If both, what is the percentage of each topic. Time stamps for the skating gaps part would also be appreciated. ;D

I watched it after all and beneath the whole lifestyle bits, park stuff etc. there is some crazy gap skating.
However, I realised that I do not really know what SLS is. I have been away from skating from around 2001 to 2020. This reminds me of that The Game line: I woke up from the coma 2001 about the same time Dre dropped 2001. So I stopped skating 2001 about the same time Dre dropped 2001... But I digress. I did not realise that there is a whole skate contest circus thingy called Street League Skateboarding.
Fill me in, what is it exactly, who participates, is it preceived cool or hated? And most of all why is it called Street League if its not happening in the Skreets but in some soulless parks??? ???

It's a mix between a run and a trick by trick contest
Very Consistent and high skilled skaters participate in it
Mostly hated on Slap, I guess it's cool everywhere else since they keep doing it
It's street league because the park design resembles the streets a little bit more than older skateparks
