kader skating them steps inside the WTC Q train entrance without a mask a few months ago had people on here/IG tripping. everyone else in the footage, bystanders and Swan alike, had masks on so it was understandable.
but now that stairset is deadass the new indoor 10 so i guess its a win win.
nothing will ever compare to the real indoor 10 though. RIP
i was gonna go real fast and just ride off that shit one day in 2009 for that one part i filmed, but never ended up making it up there in the 2 weeks i had to film. drinking and sitting at spots downtown was much more important to me at the time and unfortunately i dont drink or do cool shit like that anymore. in an alternate universe i rode off that shit holding a bud ice and exploded upon impact.

been to milano for skating in the early 2000s, stazione centrale is an amazing spot however
overall i would say barcelona, paris or berlin are way better cities for skating.
supreme is definitely trying to make milan seem cool here and pushing the hype.

The filming was always going to be a point of discussion, but that was bad. Really bad. Nothing flowed in that 25 mins bar a few clips here and there. That was hard to get through. Cool that they are giving some shine to some kids in Milan, but outside of that, not sure what else you could take away from this video.

The filming didn't bother me as much as usual. Solid watch. Lots of good skating in there. I appreciate Bill for trying to be an auteur skate filmmaker. It may not be something I come back to over and over but I am always interested to see what he's up to. Plenty of other high-quality free skate content out there that scratch other itches.

If I had to guess I’d say he wanted the shot of that kid( the Italian stallion?) to be the title card. He probably justified putting it at the beginning by thinking it sets the scene and to bookend the video with the same kid, but they’re the two worst “scenes” in the video.

didn't love it, didn't hate it, what would i rate it, probably 5/10. i feel like bills editing and filming turns great tricks into some sort of random mash of footage. the skating was very good, but it just doesn't translate. it feels like a video made to run in the background of a hip shop which you don't need to actually pay attention too a lot. in terms of tricks, there was great stuff in there, but now that i'm done watching, i can't single anything out in particular, cause i already forgot half the video due to the editing.

I expected worse based on the comments I read before watching some of it. I agree that the intro was 1:45 too long, but overall the filming wasn't unbearable to me. He definitely is good at creating a certain atmosphere and making the crew look cool/edgy, which I imagine helps sell a good deal of product.
Also, Rowan is one of the best to ever do it. I get so excited anytime I see him on the screen.

Oh my fucking god at this point it's just comical how much Beatrice can only do 5050 shoves. There's so many talented women skating now that you know lots of them are looking at her with second hand embarrassment. I literally Nelson lol'd at her first clip - knew what it was going to be.
Rest of it was predictable Strobek. Some good tricks ruined by his filming as always. This is for the youth, not old fucks like me.
Edit: Bill just went too far with that filming. As an occasional shot, sure. That's what Wolfe did. But as your defining aesthetic? It's too much. At this point it's a "thing" though - the controversy surrounding his technique, so you know they love the attention it gets.

kinda makes sense. I could see the theme of how he gets the good edgy locals (ex. SF GX dudes, Italian Stallion) to portray the scene and elements surrounding the stores that open up. I thought they shots were pretty cool but can see how they come off as corny for the older folks. Also major Larry clark vibes.

As someone said, no love or hate for this one, I enjoyed, but at some point felt like it had too much little kids looking at camera after someone landed a trick, like it was a TV studio and everyone is checking the cameras and wanted to act cool when is pointed at them.
I know is a Supreme vid, and is like mandatory to rock supreme clothes but didn´t felt natural like everyone was dressed as they want, looked like it was a lookbook or something and there was someone telling "you already landed a trick with this clothes, time to change and film another line¨... like they need to show their entire catalogue.
But trickwise liked Nik (as always), Rowan had a lot of good stuff. Caleb is so cool, always want more from him. Kader is evolving into a grown man style and I like that and also likes how the gave some shine to that chicken little kid and all the locals...
Jacopo´s trick was crazy, worth celebrating like that

Don't want to be a hater but that was my least favourite supreme/Strobeck edit.
Rowan and Kader stood out for me, both dumb good. I really like Caleb but he never has much footage. Seven is cool too. The kid with the glasses is really sick, he will be really good in a few years. Why is Bloby Greg always in clips but never has skate tricks? Did Sean Pablo not want to get a vaccine lol? Krod injured?
Why are Casper, Kyron, Sam and Mike never invited to these trips- they would make the videos better ha.
People need to start going to the end of the ledge and then land in manuals to the road.
When are people going to stop complaining about his filming/editing. You know what you are about to see, don't watch it if you don't like it. Also, how many 50-50 grind f/s shuvs are too many? Beatrice is dope, but I wouldn’t be mad if I never saw that trick again. She’s done that in pretty much every video she’s been in + 2 in this video

Tough to sit through the whole video. Wasn’t feeling the long intro. Alice In Chains song was wack. Beatrice with the same tricks in a different country. That 22gz song felt super out of place and I feel like they could have thrown any mobb deep or prodigy song in there beings they just released the hnic shirt and it would have worked better. I also enjoyed the aiden clips at that ledge spot. Also really enjoyed tjs clips at that bank/grate spot but that hoodie he rocked in most clips was god awful. Overall there was some really good skating but definitely not gonna rewatch any time soon.

I think the whole strobeck era is coming to a close. It had it’s time for Pussy Gangster and Blessed, but I could even feel it coming to ending in Candyland, however I thought the skating was so good I didn’t pay as much attention to the editing style. I hate that style of filming just as much as most of you, but its a Supreme video so no surprises there. However I hate it a lot more when that style gets copied, at least Strobeck invented it if you will.
Skating wise I have to admit I really enjoyed it, especially since having visited Milan in pre covid times. I just love it when I see spots I have skated in a video.

I actually got the impression that the intro was meant to portray that influence. The filming there was exaggerated to the point where it seemed to be self-parody. Probably I'm overanalyzing.
Some fantastic skating. Really liked Aidan Mackey's tricks on the round thing. That's not an easy thing to skate. I've seen some of these kids at Centrale, notably the short dude. Fun to have on the session. They're all pretty welcoming there. Going again in two weeks , let's see if the Strobeck treatment went to their adorable little heads. (A few days ago Draghi publicly encouraged tourists to come, to be sure. And I'm testing twice and isolating. As for the team flying out there, I guess the launching of a major brand's store legitimizes this as a vital work trip? Iffy nonetheless.)

Contrary to what most people said about the AiC song, I do actually like it. Shame that it was used in the most skippable footage of the video.
Filming itself is what I expected... I'm not a huge fan of the mega zoom stuff but at least it's kind off Supreme's trademark. I get a lot more annoyed at the copycats.

The Bs 360 over the cans near the beginning was incredible. Kader's noseslide nollie flip as a thing of beauty. All of Rowan and Nik Stain's stuff was sick. Vince's switch flip was tight, reminds me of Jensen's switch flip in old blueprint video. Felt at times like someone was in charge of costumes, which was a bit embarrassing given how hideous some of their clothes are, but having Centrale double as a runway and skatespot is at least resourceful

I think the whole strobeck era is coming to a close. I like it as much as Weed is tight. Aiden footage is always cool. I think with the shirtless kid its just a part of the movie that's Strobeks mini portrait of someone to start the movie off. Videos always used to have some long intro part that might have even been a shiddy skit. looked like he was frustrated about the trash bin burning and from a laymens perspective what he did wasn't that dumb. emptying out as much as possible before that burns, too, and then kill off oxigen intake by putting it upside down. from the editing and the other smoking bin it seemed like this was something that he had to witness a few times and he didn't seem to understand what the fuck is going on and why no one cares. i actually think it's the best part of the whole video, it's really funny. at first i thought what are you doing, you shithead? then i noticed he tried to put out the fire, but paradoxically it looked like some asshole littering the place. his facial expression showing utter disgust and confusion as to why he seems to be the only one bothered by this. this all coming from a dude who is probably trying the hardest to come off like edgy and idgaf. it's pretty hilarious. in hindsight after getting what was most likely going on, i feel bad for him and actually like him more because he cares about his surroundings.

I've been back to Italy recently, and unlike any of you would love to think, there is 0 controls at airports, so people if they have been given the ok by the flying company they can fly.
