Curious to hear any tips on this one. I’ve come close, but do not have them dialed by any means. It’s such a cool trick and when I started skating (early 90’s) they weren’t that common so I never learned them as a kid.
Where I’m at:
I can do the backside 180-pivot around thing, but I want to learn to scoop them all the way around, or at least minimize the pivot.
Anybody advice for learning these?

I have the same question - BUT - more importantly, if I could gnar your username, i would x1000. Well done.

Think scooped ollie impossible while turning with the board.

I can successfully get the “impossible” method/version on a pyramid but when I try on flat it falls apart.. I’ll either land with my front foot way off the board or lose the board mid air and it flips. What’s a good tip for getting that last 90 degrees and landing straight when doing em on flat??

Many thanks sir. After Lurking forever, then finally deciding to post something, I had to put some respect on SLAP and come correct with a decent name

This was a good post. Thanks man. Confirmed my suspicions. I suck at impossibles too since it was sort of an illegal trick when I was a kid, but I can do em and I tried a few today to get that scoop motion. I’ll keep at em, then try spinning with it.

Scoop is identical to a tre flip. Also pop straight down/jump straight up when scooping.
The most important part to me is keeping my shoulders and hips aligned in air. Trick feels completely awkward and I lose my bearings in midair if my shoulders are slightly ahead of my hips/vice versa.
Edit: don’t forget to wind up a bit

swing shoulders/arms before the pop?

1) This guy has em dialed in instagram.com/p/B_IHlXQl0M_/
2) I am slowly starting to figure them out. What really helped me was trying them out of a bank (More airtime => getting around becomes easier)
