For some dumb reason every time someone posts an embedded instagram photo it doesn't sho for me, just a blank box.
Is there some settings to fix this or am I just rarted?

I updated my mac the other day and prior I could see them in certain browsers in private mode but now I'm not seeing them at all. They show up as a grey square with the camera icon in the middle. But if I quote the post and copy the link and open the link in another window it goes to insta and shows the link.
I have yet to find what is causing this.

I also have this problem but cant figure it out. i can see them on my phone but not on my computer.

If you're using Firefox, it may have "Enhanced Tracking Protection" turned on. That's what was doing it for me. I don't really like having to turn it off to see Instagram content. It's pretty wild what data gets sent to Instagram if you scroll through a post that has an Instagram post embedded in it (this affects the whole internet).
I built a bot that will directly grab the Instagram image if you quote the post with the Instagram post, and then @ the account, but it's got a few bugs to work out. It also has only been tested for single image posts, and not slide shows / video files.

Lately this has happened to me, instagram doesn’t embed, can’t click to view on the app.
Mobile IOS and Safari.
Any tips?

Happening to me as well. And sometimes certain posts will show….other times not.
