My father passed away when I was 2 in 1977. In 2015 I found out that he died in 2007. My mother committed slow suicide and was on her death bed for 3 months in 2006 and never mentioned him. I have broken many bones, have multiple learning disabilities and have had a fiancé tell me that I was bad at sex. As a scorpio that really hurts
I still think the worst feeling is when your wheel kicks a rock out in front of you and it finds its way back under your wheels.
You can see it bounce around. If you're aware of it you can try to avoid it but it still bounces back in front of you

Much love, may rocks stay ever away from your wheels.
-
Its absurd how the tiniest of rocks can make us slam
Thanks for opening up man, I really mean it
-
my worst is running, throwing my board down, catching my toe on my tail, stumbling and falling down. Such a long lead up to getting wrecked. So much humiliation for failing skateboarding’s most basic task of putting your feet on the board.
-
i don't know if it's just me but i can literally ride over rocks like nothin even though i always skate tiny wheels. I just never have all my weight on the front wheels, even when i'm pushing on only my front foot is on the board i'm still leaning back. It's always weirded me out seeing so many people in person eat shit to them, are you guys really just leaning forward on your front wheels at all time?

Worst feeling for me is when you get a shinner, but not just any shinner... one where you land with your weight on the nose or tail and it snaps the other end directly up into the shin. OP hoping you can find some solace in the fact that we hear you and are with you.
-
If hitting a rock makes you slam you probably shouldn't be skating. Learn how to stand on your board.

what the fuck does this have to do with being a scorpio

On the other hand, if YOU haven’t hit a pebble that made you slam then maybe you should skate more, kook. I think pebble slams are very metaphorical. Even the smallest inconvenience can bring you down hard.
-
I guess it would be when you’re setting up for a trick and just before you pop, you realize that you and everyone you love will be dead some day and relatively soon afterwards the world will completely forget that you even existed. Then as the millennia roll past and our sun eventually peters out, it will expand into a red giant, unceremoniously consuming the earth… much like a fat man sucking down a whole deviled egg in one go.
-
Chick tells you dinner will be ready when you get home from work.
Walk into kitchen and smell the salmon cooking.
Then you realize the salmon is skin side up.
-
Fuck the last 2 posts in this thread got me laughing so hard I forgot I was having an anxiety attack from smoking so many exotics on my private island
-
One time I was right about to pop onto a manual pad and I hit this rock and fell into the pad and split my eyebrow open
Depends on the rock it’s crazy sometimes skating at night and you go through a bunch of rocks and they just flick away, it’s just if you get one on the angle it’s like a fucking doorstop
-
I remember once at a local park I was going to towards a steep bank and hit a pebble right before going up. Flew straight on the bank and cracked a/few ribs.

That's the worst. I still do it so often

this. love skating through blind bumps tho so i usually try to plow through unless its an isolated pebble
op its not about the rocks is it. more of a straw that broke the camels back kinda thing. i hope things get well

yesterday some lawn truck dropped rocks and mud all over my street, used this method to avoid them all and was feeling proud. Then hit a stick that sent me flying. FUUUUUUUUUUUU
-
When somebody parks in front of the slappy curb, or when a dog takes a giant shit behind the slappy curb.
-
When you drive far to the skatepark/ spot only to realize you forgot your skate shoes or your board when you get there.
When there’s a puddle behind the coping in the bowl
When you go to tre flip some stairs, miss the flick, so the board is now doing an insane 720 flip right under you, and you’ve got milliseconds to figure out how to contort your legs so you don’t land back on the board, but also not land awkwardly.
Catching the board with one foot and stomping it down on top of your other foot.
Slipping out on a backside 360, and double high fiving the ground with full force
Landing on a trick perfectly but still slipping out
Realizing you got someone’s gum on your griptape
Taking a session ending slam 5 minutes in to the session
-
outside of everyday life, that realization you don’t and probably won’t ever skate like you did when you were 16

Wait so just to clarify; you spent your entire life thinking he died in 1977 only to find out he didn't die until 2007? I figure you probably don't have a lot of answers considering your mother died before you were aware of this but did you ever learn anything from family members, etc?
-
Ghost pop. Feel like an incompetent idiot everytime I wind up for a kickflip, hop in the air, and the board stays put
-
Extreme thirst
-
I have a healthy amount of fear that I have not experienced my worst feeling. Almost drowning once blew.
-
Rolling up to a garage sale really early, and seeing someone walk away with an armful of old skate VHS… like literally missing out by 1 minute. Worst feeling.
-
Clearly no one has gotten the rumblies while out skating in a large city that they don’t live in.
-
I was at the gym last night and watched this dude threw the window eat shit on a pebble right in front of the bike thing I was on..dude smacked his head off the window. He was hauling but was grand.
I stupidly took this little Dogtown cruiser for a early morning mixer run last weekend and went to Ollie up a crub but missed the tail and ate it hahahahaha.
-
Going fast setting up fakie and hitting a pebble / stopping abruptly / sticking on a ledge. Not sure if just me but thats a slam Ill just never catch correctly and will feel for days.
The inevitable discovery that a pro you looked up to posted some stupid or ignorant shit to social media.
-
That moment when it goes from being able to run out of a fall but then it turns into you running full speed into a slam.
Or when you slam with a backpack on and the backpack stays attached to you but flies over your head and in front of you.
-

That backpack is like an albatross dragging me down to the ground.
-
Catching the heel of your pushing foot on the edge of your board as you're pushing, ultimately tripping over your own board. I never see it coming and those falls are always awkward as hell. I'm glad some skate vids put in clips of pros doing this because you can't not feel like a complete inept dumb-ass after doing so.
Also, willy grinds.

Long edging session about to hit the finale - phone rings
plot twist: its your mom
-
The moment when you realize you can't do anything to prevent you from.the incoming pain.
When you wake up too late in the morning, take a quick shower and run to work. On a sunday.
-
That moment when it goes from being able to run out of a fall but then it turns into you running full speed into a slam.
I had this happen a month ago but managed to somehow run it out anyway. I should have taken the slam because strained muscle on the run out hurt so much.
-
When you crouch down to pop for a trick but your legs are dusted and you know you don't have the energy and strength to pop it, so you shamefully disengage your crouch and roll away in embarrassment
-
When the homie asks you for the 25$ you owe him for weed at your dad’s funeral.
When the homie forgets to tuck you in.
Speed wobbles.
Hitting gravel trying to take a turn at speed.
The dreaded rear admiral.

Had a deuce creep up on me at a skatepark a few years back but it wasn’t anything serious yet and the nearest porta-potty was like 100 yards away so I said to myself “what’s a few more runs gonna hurt?” I then proceeded to slam and poop my pants. It was the worst feeling.
-
I would like to change my answer.
Needing to pee so bad you can barely walk and your peehole pipe feels like it's on fire. Yesterday was rough.

I still have panic attacks from the time I saw medusas face. I had an absolute existential crises for 6 months, with bouts of soliphsism hell. I would rather of died on a pebble than to ever have experienced it. I can't go back to my worldview security blanket and it sucks.
-
Fucken beer goggles bro I felt that
-
A toothy beej...
Also, when u cum then pull up your pants up n when u pull em down to take a piss after a few minutes your dried cum is stuck to your underwear... The painful feeling pulling down your tighty whiteys feels like my pee hole is gettin scalped every single time.

You have to remain optimistic in that situation. I’ve always managed to find a spot in the nick of time.

If your dietary fibre intake is optimal, you can just dook in your pants and kick it out the leg.

It never happens on rough ground because I expect it, it's always a rogue little pebble in the middle of otherwise perfectly smooth ground.
About 7 years ago i switched from the shoes i usually bought to another style that had a significantly lower heel. I'm skating to work, get to a busy intersection, and I put my foot down to stop, transferring my weight to that foot. My muscle memory expects my foot is soon to be planted but it's not, and I just fall straight on my back, and shoot my board out into traffic.
The WORST feeling was doing the exact same thing a few days later at the same intersection.

When your balls hang extra low because it's hot out and you snap a good Ollie and they get pinched between your buttcheeks.

Tie some floss to your neck like a choker and leash and tie the other end to your tip and make sure it's a little slack and let your pene pop out the top of your pants and just skate like that.

Aging. Can’t imagine not being able to do sick frontside flips down 10 stairs. Like what’s the point of life after that?
-
I had a friend ride over a rubber cable. Cable caught on his truck snd stretched a good meter before snapping back with flying headfirst into the asphalt and the board shooting 50 meters back down the road.
I fucking hate when backside powerslide sticks at 90 degrees and pitches you straight to your back.

I can’t describe the vibe I get
When I fall skateboarding and my pants I shit

That moment right after you stub your toe and your brain takes awhile to register the pain but you know it's going to hurt like hell
Post drinking anxiety.
Getting credit carded on fakie heelflips.
Walking away from a trick while filming.
Front smith, missing the ledge and getting a double shinner.

actually kind of funny how kid filming described the fall as his friend cried on ground "dude look at this skid mark from this little ass rock"
-
So many good examples in here. I laughed... I cried... I ignored...
I guess what I was saying was that it sucks when you see that something is happening and you can't do anything about it. Like that rock that finds its way back in front of your wheels no matter how hard you try to avoid it
Good thing we have such a large collection of experienced and believed experience individuals here to help us cope with the day to day transgressions that could get us down or even liven our spirits

I had to clamp myself down for opening up so hard but it turned out not to be so bad. So please feel free to open up on here. I'm reading

When you're skating down a busy sidewalk downtown, weaving through the mass of boring, average, mindless pedestrians with verve and style, and then eat absolute shit ollieing up a curb.

Throwing yourself at a frontside grind and not getting your truck on the coping but kinda doing an edger, not only do you look poosy but you also have a mini heart attack
