Post by: lamfordie on September 03, 2021, 08:25:51 PM
Hey Pals me and my gf got a place out in Corona and wanted to know of any good spots around there. Ive been skating more curbs, ledges and low impact stuff so anything like that will be helpful.

Shits kinda mid. Just go to ur closest local. There's that light work park in Rialto i guess. I think Archibald is in Corona. Might be wrong.

Edit: i was wrong. Was referring to harada. one of my homies would skate harada a lot growing up.  Here's an edit one of my friends was in @ orcharda long time ago.

Just drive on the 210 freeway thru the westside of San Bernardino and you’ll see the best firework show you’ve ever seen lol

Riverside ain’t too far, hunt park/Bobby bonds are a good warm up or cruise UCR if you wanna push around tons of street spots.

Hemet/San Jacinto suck ass but there’s a few gems hidden in them around town

He might be a bot but he is not lying about the San Bernadino fireworks. They're real and they're spectacular.

Late to the party on this one, but its off the 15 and Indian Truck Trail behind the Vons. Spots been around for years so I don't feel bad putting it on blast

6th street is a fun park, lots of small transition to cruise through and weird little obstacles being that it’s an old park. it’s a bit ghetto being in the middle of downtown but, i think it’s been cleaned up a bit after the whole incident that happened a few years back. santana is also worth a visit, i grew up at both parks. santana is just very slippery so beware of that. as mentioned, herada is really fun. it’s in eastvale which is just north of norco, it’s really close to archibald (the other park he mentioned) and another park we call 56th which has really good ledges. as far as street spots, mckinley elementary is a great curb spot. i grew up in a house directly across the street from there which might make me biased and it’s been about 10 years since i last skated there but, wonderful red curbs all around the place with a cool bump to street/manny pad into bank right there. riverside has an insane amount of spots, ucr is seriously a skatepark. rcc was a lot of fun too, i heard it became somewhat of a bust after a while but not too sure if it still is. the classic ray barbee bank to curbs spot is worth a trip as well. it’s no la but, there are a lot of spots worth visiting. the costco  curbs/manny pads off mckinley are fun too if you like mellow stuff as well as the vons curb off indian truck trail that was mentioned.

Theres a park in Chino Hills called "Rincon Park" that has some pretty nice ledges. Pinehurst park in Chino Hills has these weird curb/ledge planters as well

A lot of the parking garages in downtown riverside are always pretty good. Manny pads, few curbs, and fun bombs down the way a lot of them.

Not a rainy day but I helped build this DIY.

Put in these coordinates into google and park your car at the north end of the ditch.

33.9746604, -117.3985666

I don’t live down there anymore but I miss it. Tijuanas Tacos rips too, and wolfskill is a cool bar if it’s still around.
