Who are future style legends from the young crop? The guys whose silhouettes are going to be instantly recognizable?
For me it’s Rowan Zorilla. The guy does the most amazing tricks in a style that is instantly recognizable and kinda sketchy in the best way.
Also I think as Kader gets older he will be up there.
Also Oski

oxymoron title for the times but yaje has always had something going on.

Heitor

Evan smith

Everyone I was going to mention has already been said, Max Palmer especially deserves everything skating has to offer him.
I think Hyun Kummer is very polarising but theres no doubt his lazy style is both unique and influential.
-
I feel like Dustin Henry really supercharged the affected, superfluous arm/hand movements the kids love to do nowadays. Not really my thing, but I guess they’re not hurting anyone.

Agreed.

DURAO
Agree with you though, love Rowan's fairy hands...
and watching Heitor is intoxicating --- it's impossible to make skating look more effortless and fluid...
-
Oh man I keep reading comments and forgetting about people, this is a tough one. Lots of bros looking good on a skateboard right now, damn Danny hamaguchi is criminally underrated, he should be on primitive or something instead of thank you, he is powerful
-
Heitor, he just needs to quit with the fake hands sometimes
Edit: Kevin Bilyeu has better style than John Shannahan, hot take?
I strongly back this 2.
Kevin is way better skill and gear wise. John's still very good tho

Who’s the most stylish go-big/big rail skater these days? I think Vincent Milou is actually pretty sick
-
dustin henry is up there, he really is a manual god and a great skater to watch
-
Correct answer is Carl Aikens and Durao
Only dudes right now that make me see their style and then I start madly searching for something I can wear or skate to match.

Kyota
agree with the first two, but I don't understand the Kyota love. I was recently re-watching Jolie Rouge and thought about how he just doesn't look good enough on a skateboard to pull off his illegal tricks (smith to 50, street grabs, willy). There's just nothing particularly clean or smooth about his skating, especially when this thread is about style "lords". He also has that super short/stocky build, kinda reminds me of that guy in the nytimes vids with the t-rex arms. But yeah if your MO is "here, watch me do this illegal trick" you better look damn good doing it... I just don't see it.

Yep. Never know when he's gonna drop an insta clip or even if he's sponsored lol.
Durao is a good mention. Carl Aikens always just looks really cool and does good tricks. Sage is an easy pick as well. He got some bars but I wish he was picking up his board more than his pen lately.

Anyone in John's Vid, really. I talk my friends' ears off about this video constantly, but I really think that's THE video of the last 5 years. It's what a lot of people love about FA/ Hockey/ Supreme without the heavy-handed marketing and without Strobeckification.
-

Vincent Huhta got the best style in the game

Fair point. I think that the way in which a skaters body moves in regards to tricks is an element of style. Anyone can KF but some guys have that kinda flick and pop. This can be bogged down by shit taste in spots/clothes/music etc. I’ll admit, Kyota isn’t absolutely fluid but considering other aspects, such as demeanor, trick selection, consistency, and kits to name a few I think I can holistically conclude him to be a style lord. Looks very distinct on a board.

Dustin Henry

Lee Yankou
Jed Anderson
I feel like the Canadian silouttes of the late 2000s/early 2010s are Wade, Tj, The Decenzos, Morgan Smith, etc.
-
i don’t get as razzed as the next guy about andy anderson but to call him a stylish skateboarder is a little much
-
Durao, Gustav, Max Palmer, Hjalte, Kader, Carl, Tiago.
I feel like I’m sleeping on Kyle Wilson. I like what I’ve seen but it’s not much. He got parts?
-
Kevin Bradley if you wanna go back till 2015 bon voyage, dude can do any trick and kind of exaggerates his shit to where its unique and sturdy
but yeah a lot of what these comments are saying, personal fav these days is Kader and Shin, maybe cuz I havent had the time to watch much footy outside of ig but yeah
-
Deedz - no one can touch this fools creativity & style, deedz is instantly recognizable on deck, his fakie mannie / fakie flips are deadly... I think it was mustache rides he fucking fakie flips into a damn near 35-40 degree bank from a drop...
DURAO - SWITCH LORD FUCK THAT GOOFY LEANDRE DURAO IS THE SWITCH GOAT.... quarter snacks dunk release teaser on IG hand rail switch flip is BUTTTTAAAA
adrian del campo - havent watched much of his parts, but seeing him tear up IG recently has been amazing to say least... My guy has some of the craziest pop and lands everything damn bolts.
