I always thought I was pretty immune to nostalgia but that fucking got me.
Wish that came out in 06 would of been perfect to watch everyday as I would of watched the ipath promo a trillion times already.
Can't believe people say these are the worst years of skate fashion I have to think they are just lumping these in with K slims and all over print hoody years that followed.
Also Andrew Allen and van wastell look so fucking perfect. Can't believe people hate on workpants and plain t shirts.

This is a treat!
Some recycled stuff for sure but lots of stuff that’s new or I forgot about.
This time in skateboarding between the zero handrail era and the fully flared ledge dancing Renaissance had some really interesting skating going on. Though, I’m biased because this was the peak of my teenage skate rat years.

Dustin Dollin is forever one of my favourite skaters, he takes some of the heaviest slams ever.

Seems like a good place to revisit this. This was a great tour video with tons of street footage in China and stuff. Lots of great van wastell footage. Lots of Scott Kane destroying demos. Really worth a watch. It was a free video that shops gave away. I used to watch it all the time. Cool period for vans. Lots of the first Andrew Allen footage I ever saw.

i love that im just seeing this now. it feels so innocent. nothing hurt yet. no rock bottoms and you could just laugh the slams and hangovers. I know im putting my own nostalgia and emotions into the narrative, but for real...we still had van wastell with us and cardiel was flying.

It's weird because it's an account that just posts old clips so you'd think they'd be into it.
Unless it's because this era of vans team stopped the cinder block shoes and having your ass hanging out your pants these "golden era" fans seem to love so much.
I suppose it could possibly be a filmer who wants credit.

That’s Joe Krolick’s account who I presume filmed a lot of the clips. Promo was sick, Andrew Allen’s song was so funny. And yeah, Van had the best style.
