UK friends.
Just had a leaflet through the door saying they are going to be applying Micro-Asphalt Surface to my road in the coming few days. Has anyone else had this done on their street? What's it like?
I'm hoping for super skateable road surface outside my house. Away with the crust.

will be smooth bit won't last long, they usually they put it over damaged roads for a cheap fix, fill in of potholes n that
will last like a year in uk weather then will start chipping away n road will end up worse than it was, classic uk shit

My road just had it and it seems rough as shit.

It’s liquid asphalt poured cold to cover a thin layer of the top surface of the street. Whether or not it will be smooth depends on the type of aggregate,(stones), they mix it with which varies. But yeah won’t last long like the other dude said.
