Recently rewatched goldfish, Paco and mouse and do not get what the appeal of Craig in the 90s was. Watched 20 shot and trilogy too and also don't get what was meant to be good about world.

Rickk. We do a lot of the same tricks. He just does them better. So many great guys over the decades. Keenan, MC, McCrank, SJ, Jeron, Chico, (Pre weird) KA, Guy, MJ, Pre-Injury Mo, AO, Popps, I always have had a soft spot for Rudy, etc. I remember when Crail was completely untouchable. Some of the new guys are sick too.

When Yeah Right came out, I was buddies with good skaters for the for the first time in and coming into my own a bit with my own skating (never got very good but I was getting comfortable and starting to get it a little more).
I had never heard of Robbie McKinley and that part was one of the first times I felt like I had the context and taste to understand how/why a dude who didn’t fit the early ‘00’s rai/stair/hubba mold was really fuckin’ good.
There was also a some attainable element to his skating that made it resonate with me.
Not sure if he’s my favorite, but that’s where my head went tonight when I read the topic.
