Title: Computer Knowers, Help Dumbass

I am trying to install some mods for Fallout 2 and cannot figure it out to save my life.  Everything I see says it’s “super easy” and have even tried following guides but then when I try to follow along, everything crumbles.  And I’m not a total r-word, I know how to work a computer.  Apparently just not good enough to do this particular thing.

I have a new computer, new copy of the game, so one would think it should be easy, but it’s just not flowing.

Anyone want to volunteer their services?  I can send like a gently used board or something for help if I can actually figure out what I’m doing wrong.

you try running the game in administrator mode?

I meant like how to install the mods.  The game plays fine.

Nexus Mods with the Vortex program gonna probably be your easiest/best route. Below is a youtube video that should get you started.
