As a yung one some of my best/worst memories were watching the THPS PRO BAILS videos, skateboarding faces of death, and bail parts. What better type of bail to examplify the ever precarious and unpredictable nature of skating than handrail sacks. What are some of the absolute worst/most painful sacks caught on camera in skateboarding history? Im talking about dudes slipping out on boardsides, and just getting straight up mangled on handrails and shit.

That one dude in the 90’s/early 00’s who ollied off the half pipe to sack on a metal barrier. Can’t remember who/where it was, but that footage haunts me.
That and Johnny Layton’s gap to sack in that part that got cut from Propeller.

As far as pure comedic value all around proposition, the Olympics vertical bar sack is unbeatable. Think about it: It was a freak occurrence even by the standards of handrail skaters, it was extremely whimsical to watch, it happened on global television, and no serious injury occurred, so we can all feel great about laughing at it. It is a phenomenal sack, someone please help me with a gif.
