I've been hesitant to do this because I imagine it will sink, but: a thread for noise, power electronics, musique concrete, post-industrial, field recordings, etc. I know there is an experimental/soundscape thread, but it skews heavily towards guitar-based drone music.
I'm sure @skate_or_dingus will have plenty of great stuff to contribute, but I am curious to see if anyone else is into this sort of thing. So many people I know through noise skate or skated for a long time.
Rather than just give the rundown of 100% classics or new stuff, I'll start off with a general overview of some favorites.

Perhaps my favorite of all time, right at the nexus of power electronics, death industrial, and pure noise. Sick and textural.

Not one of the classics of Japanese harsh noise, but a favorite of mine. From the faceless collective known as Lust Vessel, this is some ripping junk metal noise.

Arv & Milj�Antropocen
An all time favorite. The dread of the modern era conveyed via cassette loops and minimal synth noise. This project has a few chapters, going from a harsh sound to almost pure field recording to a kind of kosmicheinfluenced synth sound. All great though.

Speculum Fight - White Elephant: Impossibly dense drone/noise with electronic sputter. Really beautiful stuff (not on YouTube so his side of the split with Lab Rat will have to do).

Chop Shop - Scraps: The most gorgeous tape packaging in my collection. Not far off from the Speculum Fight sonically, though all sounds derived from insane looking homemade speakers playing in open spaces (do yourself a favour and check out Scott Konzelman/Chop Shop's installations). Industrial sound in the truest sense.

Merzbow - Hybrid Noisebloom: Yeah yeah this guy. There's a reason everybody's heard of this guy. The most technically proficient/brutally complex synth music ever recorded.
Hannover Interruption's my favourite of his (again, not on YouTube), but this one's a close runner up.

The Haters - Rot 7": One of the first noise releases I ever bought and the first noise/sound art project that I genuinely fell in love with. The A-side (which oooof course isn't on YouTube) is one of the gnarliest slabs of sound ever commited to tape. B-side (here) is pretty much what to expect from 90's Haters. Profile pic look familiar?

James Ferraro - Jarvid 9: Flushpipe: Possibly the most singular sound artist to ever exist. Dude's conjured up thousands of hours of Fourth World mindmeld sonics, but for my money this is the dude's magnum opus. The end of terrestrial music. Infinitely beautiful and beautifully infinite.

@skate_or_dingus had no idea about Speculum Fight before even though its a Damion Romero thing. Good stuff. That ringing/grinding oscillation that starts around 2:00 is one of my favorite sounds.

Italians do it better. M.B., Mauthuasen Orchestra, Atrax Morgue, etc. feel special to me because they sit at this perfect nexus of the sub-genres listed in the title of this thread. I also like that they're primarily synthesizer-based projects. No shade at all towards people using metal, tapes, or whatever concrete sources...I just find it personally inspiring.
That being said, I've been super into Linekraft as of late. Great heavy electronics mixed with some serious metal abuse. Wish I would have seen him live when he came over for the Hospital Productions events.

Mot - Hack (New Forces): Dirty, sputtering harsh noise from rural concréte sound sources. Maybe my favourite Canadian project currently operating. The best thing I've heard all year.

Etrusca 3D - Trickster Blade (Pacific City Sound Visions): Not gonna try to describe this one. Nothing sounds like this shit and the concepts are somehow getting MORE abstract.

Star - Yutris (I Am Elegant):
Star/IAE have consistently brought an anything goes/nothing coheres approach to their sound/visuals and this weird fucker is no exception.
Seperated into twelve nearly impossible to index sections (most of them titled "Supercore"), each side begins as a relatively straightforward noise assault, with cascading sheets of feedback and looping chirps that become yelps that become belches. As the pieces progress, amp-blasted Portuguese radio cuts/pop songs cut through the mix, and the tape ends too many times. It should have ended too many more.
As usual, the artwork/packaging is an ever-shifting mix of some of the most baffling and incongruous imagery being used in noise/sound art these days. Dogs, museums, animism, divination? Doubt it.
My copy is numbered 2219/3000.

Monolithic, HARSH shit that sounds like classic 90's Japanese noise, but done by a guy in Montreal. I love everything that I've heard from this project.

Bumping this thread. Been jamming all these dead body love reissues and just got the Pauline Oliveros early electronic work box set. I’m hyped to see there’s a noise thread. When I left skating as a teen I stumbled into RRR and it changed my life. I left skating to make noise and since I started skating again I use skating sounds heavily in what I do now. It’s also rad cause so many people who make noise skate. It’s cool to see slaps got a noise thread.

I spent years playing noise and drone but was poor for a long time and couldn't maintain enough gear to keep going. I'm slowly building back my set up and can't wait to start playing again. I've been rocking this one a lot recently

That’s so sick I was supposed to play scum a few times but I have warrants from parking tickets in ny so I always had to cancel :(. Also been meaning to come down to philly. So many homies but I’m a homebody. Specifically wanna see stroker again. I played with Rachel in Albany and it’s still one of the best sets I’ve ever seen in my life. Was supposed to play that black lace fest this weekend but my downstairs neighbors bathroom ceiling collapsed so I was stuck at home with a plumber looking at our pipes
