I know I have bad rep on this forum, to be honest I dont really care, but I would like to know how this works and how can I give good or bad rep to other users.

It’s pretty easy, actually.
Anytime you see a post you like or dislike, you quote it and simply type “gnar” or “kook” respectively.
It wouldn’t actually get posted to the thread, the slap interface will recognize you are trying gnar/kook someone’s rep and adjust their rep accordingly.
I use this method all the time, works like a charm!

The truth of the matter is your ability to kook/gnar others comes as a perk when you pay for the Platinum Level membership.
I’m going to guess that you’re still using the free SLAP service, and have not yet availed yourself of the many advantages that come along with enhanced (read: paid) membership.
Things like unlimited changes of your username, account lock-out protection, discounts at participating retailers/websites via special promo codes, all access status at Street League events (if that noise is your bag), your own key code to Thrasher’s Double Rock training facility should you ever be in SF (because SLAP is still operated by High Speed Productions), occasional free SLAP merchandise like hats, shirts, stickers, you even receive annual birthday greetings from mods/admin on your special day. There’s just too many perks to list.
It’s basically a whole ‘nother world as far as experience goes. Think of it as SLAP with the power meter revved all the way up, all of the time, so every move you make is a special move.
Last time I checked, user lk130 was still in charge of wrangling enhanced subscription packages; reach out via DM if you’re still interested in the whole kook/gnar thing, but really, that’s just the tip of the niceberg as far as benefits go.

Don’t listen to this Mod in disguise. All of that is true except for the Double Rock and Street league part. The discount is for the Fabo/Marco-les catalog drops. It’s also the only way to get your questions answered for the SLAP Pals interviews when @Monkey_Mcpott has time for them. The @admin gives you a little birthday cake emoji on your birthday too.
The mods here, including @lk130 , will bill you biannually if you sign up. Venmo or CashApp work best.

Yes but the default clock on Slap is set to Pacific Time. This gives them a significant time advantage to accumulate 1000 posts.
Given that I am Eastern Standard Time, they are three hours behind me. As a result, they have three whole extra hours a day to post on Slap. May not sound like a lot, but:
3 hours a day x 365 days a year = 1,095 hours
This means they have 1,095 more hours to invest into their Slap persona. That’s 45 extra days to post!!!
It’s simple math man! The Coastal Elites makeup the Slap Pals and they’re the one pulling the strings, kooking and gnarring without repercussion.

Considering I went for lunch and came back and it was down by 50 more, you're probably right. On one of my older accounts the mods changed my avatar to troll me, so I wouldn't put it past em'.
Slap is an interesting place. For every Pal who seems to be a reasonable person, there's like 50 who's default response to anything they don't agree with 100% is to hurl insults and mash the kook button. I guess that's a big part of the reason Slap has such a bad rep in the "real world". The same place that has a mental health/outreach thread is overwhelmingly populated by people who consistently engage in (forgive the cringey term) cyberbullying. I'll never forget the time a random Pal went through my personal instagram to find something I worked hard on, just so he could send me an incredibly rude message dissing that work. Why? Because in a "worst graphics" related thread I made a joke about Frog's graphics. Triggered much? And now, because I honestly answered the OP's post in this thread, I'm the target of a massive kooking campaign. Like I said, I knew what was coming, but it's just funny how instantly Slap confirmed exactly what I thought. They can't take any criticism whatsoever.
Extra funny because I can think of one specific group that uses very similar tactics whenever criticized, and that group is (rightfully) a favorite target for Slap's ire. For how much Slap loves to pile on Berra (again, rightfully so), they sure love to act just like him. ;D It's like I'm being followed out of Tampa Pro by the Slap army, fuming that I dared to hold up a banner reading "Temp/Gnar exists!".
I don't mind the kooking at all, really. It gives me something to look forward to when I log on. It's fun to see just how much space I'm taking up in the minds of some incredibly thin skinned folks. I just worry that some of y'all are gonna miss the next drop of Dime gear/Big Boys by being so preoccupied with me. ;)

It’s pretty easy, actually.
Anytime you see a post you like or dislike, you quote it and simply type “gnar” or “kook” respectively.
It wouldn’t actually get posted to the thread, the slap interface will recognize you are trying gnar/kook someone’s rep and adjust their rep accordingly.
I use this method all the time, works like a charm!
