Illusion flip or whatever the fuck people call them
We all know the old Muska ones
I see Kyle Wilson and Heitor doing steezy modern day ones.
Call me kooky but I wanna learn em bad
Anyone know how ?

I will try to explain it: put your back foot in the 360 flip
Pocket of your tail, but not as much on the side of the tail as if you would do a 360 flip. Your front foot should be positioned as you would be doing a kickflip. Before you pop build up some pressure between front foot and back foot by pressing down at the Same time. When you “flip“ your Board while thinking hardflip with a lot of pressure, while you are in the air do a body varial and catch the board.
Actually just watch Chad Thomas or Muska to get an idea.
And remember: Conquer your board, don‘t let your board conquer you!
There is a good one @2:28

Do way less kickflip motion than you'd ever do for a kickflip. Almost flip it with the sole of your foot. Like barely bend your ankle in an ollie motion at all.

Forgot how much Chet had. Forgotten great
Thanks guys am I right in saying it's kinda got a bit of a pressure flip feeling to it when setting up

For me not so much (altho I'm no expert,I did them regularly in the early 00s then got shamed out of doing them and only just really started trying again. I'm actually better at the "heelflip" versions)
it weirdly feels a little like a no comply. Actually I guess yes youre putting down pressure before you pop if that's what you mean

Focus on picking the front foot straight up before flicking
