How do ppl feel about them. Already tried the One Star and loved it, but worried the added toe cap on the jp is going to change how the shoe feels in a bad way. Anyone have experience with them and can tell me what's up with these shoes?

Had the Polar ones back in the day and liked em. As long as you've skated chucks before, they're not much different.
-
yeah, they're just like the chucks but it takes longer to flick through the toe cap

Never skated them but my mom has a pair of green ones that she wears to work and she likes them. Hope this helps!

My mother also wears some to work occasionally so I second this.
I’ve never had a pair but they remind me of Nike all court and that’s one of my favorite sneakers of all time.
Definitely would be interested in trying a pair. A thinner suede mid top sounds nice, but I’d imagine you have to get used to the collar.
Anyone have opinions on mid vs low top? Anyone say fuck it and skate the canvas ones?

jack purcells are only like a 1/4 size too big where as chucks are a 1/2 size too big.

I had the GX1000 ones and they were ok. Lasted a while but I didn’t like the flick.

Yes, buy them , skate them till they die, throw them away.

Best cons shoe in my opinion, had two pairs of the Polar ones, the gx ones, the jenkem ones and got a pair of the mids, I prefer the low to the mid but each to their own I guess, I'm a uk 7.5 and went down to a 7 in them and they fit spot on so I would try and find somewhere you can try them on before you buy them.
