of all people you choose to rag on shane oniell?
no filler at all = less output

There's probably a thousand people who technically improved after their first part but it never hit as hard. I feel like I've named 999 in other threads recently so I'll just say Mike mo

Ya i mean that was an all time part but he only had 1 other part and it was bottom 25 % of that video (pretty sweet) good example

You don’t really have to drop huge parts these days to have a big following and sponsor worth. Lots of dudes are probably fine with not adding tons of pressure and dealing with the “this wasn’t as good as I was hoping” trolling that is much more present these days.

Ill agree if you are trying to reflect on the 2010's

Ya basically
Suciu , ishod with chronicles 2 imo , cant be more than a couple others that rly fulfilled potential etc (past their breakout part)
Cory kennedy PS of mike mo FF are obviously goat parts but everything after that for each of them was average at best
Its understandable to take foot off the gas when you made it sort of but damn 99 % of them do lol
-
Tom Knox is the only current pro whose parts I go back to a lot.
With the current footage onslaught, I'd rather pros put out something really memorable rather than put out a ton of footage I'm unlikely to ever re-watch.

Yeah the point of a part should be every 3 years you top yourself or at least around your usual level minimum

Sorry for defacing your favorite internet website you loser

Koston? Mike Carroll? Zered Bassett?
This applies more for 2010 +
Zered is an example of not putting it all together imo actually

Dumbass thread... not completely sure what OP's point is. You get these people exist outside of your head, right?

People very very rarely surpass their debut part or even put out another part at that same level
(Not counting a part like suciu in origin where i think he was 16 ish) 18 minimum i guess

Mason Silva Franky Villani Antonio Durai

Mason Silva Franky Villani Antonio Durai
Mason and franky are borderline but ya durao might be most egregious
Lemos is obviously another one
Luan to altho chronicles 2 is close , his extremely sorry part is technically top 5 when it came out and hasnt topped it

Brandon is still killing it 10+ years later.
I don't know what the fuck you've watched for skate videos in your life, but this is stupid

I said made counts as something as good or better than debut (stay gold) so hes a guy that doesnt fit what i was describing
Although apart from made and stay gold its been pretty alright or sparse (which is fair , just saying)
-
i really wish we all got that definitive alex olson part
I think pretty sweet is as good as itd get
Really we just want more footy overall from the goat
But singular part wise i think thats about the cap (maybe my all time fave part)

It’s nice to see you spinning away, propeller.

His 2021 part is enough imo , since day one even is

Austyn unlimited and dylan gravis are good examples of what im talking about
-
bold move assuming anyone cares what you’re talking about
-
Shouldve phrased that as no one cares what im saying
Not "what im talking about"

I duno about joslin clip wise his album part is far better than true but the editing killed that whole video, I think his difinitive part will be the one in this new plan b video he’s in that age window n supposedly he back 3 kickfliped the Heath kirchart gap
-
Might be aging myself a lot but I remember when Wade’s Top Dollar part came out, Kayo promoted the fuck out of it explicitly saying that it was throwaway, verbatim and to watch out for his ‘real footy.’ Then he dropped a lesser part.
-
Marc Johnson mastered the art of the video part. A lot of pros from his era did.
If you watch his early parts it's amazing how much he progressed. Basically all the superstars from the early nineties who had longevity took their skating to insane levels by the mid 2000's.

Ok you need to do your research man. Austyn Unlimited was not Austyn's first part. Remember he had a part as a grom in Alien's Inhabitants vid. Also had a part in Habitat's Origin. Wasn't until later he had Austyn unlimited. Same with Dylan, he had a TransWorld part and also a part in this little vid called MIND FIELD (haha) before the Gravis part. So these are terrible examples.
I would argue more skaters 'top' their debut parts than don't.

I meant good examples of guys that do put it together and top it

This thread stinks but is another great chance to point out KB hasn't "put it together" as we're saying nowadays.

I think you have it the wrong way around. The ones that do come in with heavy debut parts or disappear from public eye in their prime have a tendency to become memorable for it as the list isn't exactly huge compared to the amount of pros/ams there are.
